Same here. Gonna be playing tonight. Tracking while ADS doesn't seem as good as it is in Farpoint, hope they patch that
I played it a bit yesterday, and holy crap it's amazing. It's as close as I've seen to that feeling you get playing paintball. I can't even begin to explain it to my friends that don't have VR. If you don't have VR and you have a friend that has this you need to invite yourself over and try it.
My brother and I feel Siamese Twins are also under-represented...
I agree. I find it funny that he leaves out the Xbox One from the list of consoles with the best gaming experience, yet the hardcore gamers still stuck with them "always". At least be honest and accept that you lost some during that period...
"Hardcore players, those who prefer the best gaming experience, have always been on our side, from the first Xbox to Xbox 360 and now with the Xbox One X."
I'm sorry, ccgr, but that's clearly because you're not a hard core gamer. Perhaps you qualify for the "soft core" label? ;-)
This is a good idea. it's been talked about for a while, surprised no one has moved on it since now. Wonder if Sony will follow suit...
Do you only watch the shows on during prime time? :-)
@Bnet343 - sorry I meant your Dad's CC info. You can't sign up without a CC on file, and their terms state what happens: "Subscription continues to be charged monthly at then-current price (subject to change; plus applicable taxes) unless cancelled.".
These nominal fee tactics make you put a valid credit card down and auto renew with the hopes you'll either love it or forget to cancel. Presumably the forget to cancel option happens a lot.
I don't disagree. Personally I feel that when it comes to Multiplayer games there are tons (sadly too many) of examples of pretty good ideas baked into pretty good games that don't make it. It's like MP has to cross this really high threshold to keep our ADD from kicking in and moving on to something else, essentially killing the game. And with social media being as it is, it seems there's even more stratification around a handful of games that all your friends are playing. S...
Personally I'd rather read a book about Fortnite and it's success than Lawbreakers and it's failure. Seems like coming off a failed business venture is exactly the wrong time to write a book if the intent is for other people to read it. Bad timing for launches is kinda the consistent theme here I guess...
The publishers are smart in blurring the lines with gamers around cross play. They say it's a cross play issue to get gamers upset, but the publishers don't really care about cross play. They care about CROSS BUY, because they ultimately want to sell you their digital goods through their store without paying the platform holder's cut.
If we just focused on cross play, Sony has been progressive with doing that with PC, just never with other consoles.
Agree with Sega. I like the flexibility and power with a PC, but I still want to have a "console-like" experience for most things, and Steam is as close to the whole package as you can get. But to be honest if there's a game I want to play badly I'll succumb to going to another store to get it. I wonder if Steam cuts side deals with the bigger players to reduce the cut in order to keep them on the platform.
@skull, I don't think Steam qualifies as a monopoly... There have been other stores for quite some time, Steam is just the most successful.
Until developers stop using DirectX and instead use cross platform apis (openGL, Vulcan, etc.), there's little hope to shift gaming to Linux. I don't see a real movement away from directX happening without some major muscle behind it...
Yea, US store. Digital Only sale.
Aleready got one that was bundled with Farpoint. It's great.
I'm hoping to see all yall on Firewall when it comes out. Rainbow Six in VR sounds amazing.
Don't forget to check out that sale on the store. Some pretty good deals there on some lesser known titles...
I know these are for the PC, but as an aside the beta isn't looking really great on my PS4 Pro, not nearly as good as BF1 does. Hopefully they just haven't optimized for the pro yet. The HDR seems off in places too...
