I'm betting that's how it will be marketed. I'm sure there will be some incremental improvements due to technical advances over time. But this is just marketing speak to avoid the perception that they're late to the party.
And next year their VR solution will be the first TRUE VR experience
The article doesn't mention that ps4 supports keyboard and mouse without adapters, just plug them in. Games can choose whether or not to allow them. Warthunder does for example. Hacks that make a mouse look like a controller are probably hard to avoid on any platform...
This game is an absolute blast when played with others. Cross-buy makes it even better
And I like the fanboy label if you think resolution is important, but perfectly normal if you think frame rate is important.
Doesn't the PS button remember where you were in the system menu, so you can instantly go back to messages or friends every time? If so, that will make some situations faster and some slower in terms of clicks. It's all based on how you use your system.
GamingBolt will have a more detailed analysis available immediately following DF publishing theirs...
I think they'll keep writing the stories as long as it generates hits...vicious cycle. Our family has 3 of them and they're awesome, and not dead yet
A) you can play a little even on "significant other nights" 😊
B) you're on vacation or at your parents and you want to buy something from Xur in Destiny, etc.
Yea, if you don't like indies you're going to be disappointed. I like indies on a handheld because I don't expect a cinematic experience, simple and fun is ok for me.
With the free PSN games and PS4 remote play alone, the Vita has been worth it to me. It's really a great device, especially if you have a ps4... I don't feel Sony markets it well in the states- many gamers don't even know it exists...
That's true, but gushing over a technique that Call of Duty was doing on xb1 a year ago and calling it brilliant is kinda funny to me. It's a reasonable workaround.
Locked 1080p would be even more brilliant 😊
I don't really like the unoriginal names, but I can't fault them for it since Apple TV and Apple Pencil didn't make me flinch.
I'm playing MCC campaign now, and I don't think it's fair to say it's broken. I can say confidently that co-op over the network has been very frustrating, with crashes and significant frame rate issues for the non-host players. Still, it's not broken, just really rough. I'm still happy to be playing through it, and the amount of content is massive. It's worth pointing out that only Halo 2 got remastered, vs. Uncharted where supposedly all three games will have new ...
If you compare scores on metacritic for various exclusives, they don't seem far off to me. Good scores for Last of Us and God of War remastered, not so great for The Order and ok for Until Dawn. Are you saying they're extra generous for Xbox titles?
Agreed, DC would obviously need to make some big sacrifices graphically to run at 60FPS
Oh, ok. I'm not seeing comments here suggesting xb1 is broken, just that the ps4 version looks better. So those guys aren't immature fanboys just because they see a difference, right?
I hope people aren't being labeled a fanboy just because they see a difference between 1080p and 900p. 900p is like 70% of 1080p, and that's a significant difference. It's just a fact, not fanboy-ism. If your TV is big enough or you use a projector on big screen, and you sit fairly close, 1080p will "pop" and 900p will look a bit blurry. Not a game changer, but hey, it's a difference, and some of us care about how sharp it looks. Someday I hope to be playing in 4K an...
Now that we know they really are expanding PS now, you can bet a mobile PS Now app is on the way.
