I'm not sure I'd hazard to hack my PS3 if the option was available. Downloading some of those massive games would take days even with a good connection. Burnable blu-ray's are freaking expensive as well and I don't see that dropping in pricing any time soon.

If they really cared about the fans, they would have done the PS3 DLC day 1 with the 360 version. Nonetheless, it's nice to see the DLC available via PSN.

Seriously, Nintendo doesn't even have 3 year warranty on their products. Like Nintendo, Sony products are relatively sound and don't need a 3 year warranty that would be an unnecessary cost to the company.

I'd love to ask companies that make the products I have (Panasonic, LG, Sandisk, JVC, Fuji etc.) to extend my warranty, but most companies only have a 1 or 2 year warrany to begin with. Why ask Sony to do what most companies won't, a 3 year warranty? It's just not good b...

MS only extended the warranty b/c they were about to be hit with a 1 billion lawsuit they were bound to lose, secondly they denied RROD existed even though it was a known issue prior to launch. I asked the MS rep about it several month's after launch and he said with a straight face that RROD didn't exist. This was the same rep that told me there was still 500+ games being made for the xbox1 after the 360 was release. In both cases, I knew the 'tard was lying to my face or giving PR BS. ...

If this title is coming to N.A, it's one more game pushing me to buy a Wii. Punchout is looking good as well. I hope Nintendo shows this at E3 while showing us some other games like Sin and Punishment 2 and Fragile.

I have to agree, the multi-player aspect for the Wii is what makes it fun. I just can't picture my nieces picking up a 360 nor a PS3 for single player motion based games.

I'm going to be playing this with my 2 nieces soon enough, it's the rare occasion where it's alright to say to my nieces "I'm gonna beat the cr@p outta ya!".

@mynd

You forgot Tomb raiders and SF4 which sold more while having a better attach rate on the PS3. I do, however, agree with you that most multi-platform games sell roughly equal on both the PS3 and 360. Look at games like Fallout 3, Dead space, Prince of Persia etc., they all sold pretty much the same across both platforms.

It's not a dream, "Alan Wait" will come in due time.

Assuming this is true, I'd consider getting a PS3 slim as backup in the future, even though I have a 60 GB PS3 already.

Actually, PES (AKA winning eleven) does pretty well for konami in Europe and Japan, where soccer as a sport is big. I'm sure konami's NDS gaves give them quite a boost too.

@BobbySaget

Wow...your such a...what's the word of the day....a 'tard for going so far off tangent with your comments on the PS3. The article is focused on the blu-ray format compared to HD VOD, not PS3 sales.

When you meant "not selling", would that be the same way how the zunes is being curbed stomped by the ipod in sales? Then again, you could be referring to the 99% of businesses that didn't bother upgrading to windows vista.

Your not one of the "tards" that bought HD-dvd and is upset blu-ray is doing well, are you?

The guy who wrote this article is a bit "tardy" ( http://dictionary.reference... ) to the whole "blu-ray is dead" scene.

No worries guys, I have friends working at EB Games and I've already heard PSN cards are on the way this summer in Canada.

Now we all know why TOV is going to the PS3 with exclusive content, while Ace Combat 7 and Katamari are PS3 exclusives.

@xenovis

The one achilles heal to your argument is that companies such as Rockstar, EA, Ubisoft, Bandai-Namco etc.; have called the PS3 their bread and butter.

Rockstar: http://kotaku.com/5112763/t...

Ubisoft:

I'd rather put money towards a PSN game like Fat Princess or Ragdoll kung fu, rather than DLC. To each their own though, it's good to see someone enjoying the GTA4 DLC.
