The First Descendant Ultimate ranks have been expanded, and now players can play as Ultimate Valby. However, unlocking the Ultimate Valby is required before anything else, and we are here to help you with that. How to Get Ultimate Valby in The First Descendant
As with all other Descendants, both the Ultimate and Normal versions, there are always two options to get them. Players can either grind the materials needed for their research or spend some Caliber and purchase them in the shop. Ultimate Valby currently has two bundles in the shop and they can be yours for 3000 or 5000 Caliber.
Although buying a character in a shop for real money is the fastest way to unlock them, they can also be farmed for free. However, the components needed for the Ultimate character are usually all found inside Amorphous Materials, and Reconstruction Devices are needed to open them. This means that farming all that is required to research Ultimate Valby will see players face off against multiple Collosi.
How to Research Ultimate Valby
As mentioned before, Ultimate Valby Blueprints are locked behind some of the more serious farming in the game. Moreover, once blueprints are found, three out of four have to be crafted, which does require additional materials and time. Below, you can find all the locations where you can farm for Ultimate Valby Blueprints and the materials needed to craft them:
Ultimate Valby Enhance Cells Blueprint

The Old Mystery mission on hard mode in the Starfall Road part of the Hagios region has the best chance to drop Amorphous Material Pattern 044 – Mutant AA. This can be opened using a Reconstruction Device after a Void Intercept battle against Swamp Walker on Hard difficulty. Once open, players can get the Ultimate Valby Enhance Cells Blueprint as part of the loot dropped.

As with the Ultimate Valby Enhance Cells Blueprint, the Old Mystery mission can also drop an Ultimate Valby Stabilizer Blueprint. The same Amorphous Material Pattern 044 – Mutant AA contains both Blueprints. So just farm this mission and the Swamp Walker Void Intercept battle until you get both.

The best chance to locate an Amorphous Material Pattern 030 – Mutant AA that can contain the Ultimate Valby Spiral Catalyst Blueprint is by doing the Caligo Ossuary mission on Hard mode in the Mining Site area of the Agna Desert region. However, to open this material a Void Intercept battle with Devourer is heeded.
Ultimate Valby Code
Getting the last blueprint requires the opening of Amorphous Material Pattern 023 – Mutant AA. The best way to farm this is by doing the Vulgus Strategic Outpost mission on Hard mode in the Corrupted Zone part of the Hegos region. Luckily, in the same zone, players can do a Void Fusion Reconstor mission and open this material.
Once all the Blueprints are collected and assembled, players can travel back to Albion and use Magister Anais to start the Ultimate Valby research. Additionally, this research also has a cost of 900,000 gold and will take 36 hours to finish. However, once this is done, you will have the Ultimate Valby in your Descendants pool.
