With so many Descendants, weapons, and cosmetics, it is natural to wonder will any of them require real money, or if everything is unlocked by grinding. Yes, there are microtransactions in The First Descendant. 

After all, free-to-play games have to earn revenue in some way, and microtransactions are how they do it.
