The current Major Order has proven to be a true test for the dedicated Helldivers as they are struggling to complete it. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the players have had it rough since the very start of the MO. At the time of writing this article, there is less than 36 hours left on the clock, and two more planets need to be liberated. Will the Helldivers 2 community manage to liberate both Wezen and Ustotu and complete the Major Order in time?
Wezen or Ustotu, That Is the Question
Varylia V, Wasat, and Vega Bay are bot-free and secured. That leaves Ustotu and Wezen in desperate need of liberation. The players are trying to strategize and find a way to emerge victorious from this Major Order.
The problem is that the players are divided between the two planets. Although strategically speaking, Wezen might be more important, most of the players are fighting on Ustotu, leaving the devoted few to fend for themselves on Wezen.
-VAXOS- explained: “We should go to Wezen. Why? The whole sector will be liberated. We will remove the possibility of being attacked from that planet. Bots can mess up our MO by doing that”. Lopauld added: “Wezen should be a better idea to secure Vega Bay definitely”.
Lots of players advocated that Ustotu is the correct choice. P_Johnson7 noted: “Wezen players, move to Ustotu. Your contribution would add an additional ~1%/hour to the rate of liberation. On Wezen, your efforts are being matched and negated by the bots, with no progress being made”.
Even though Wezen has a bigger strategic value, we’d recommend you go to Ustotu, since the majority of the players are already there. Once the player base unites, they’ll have bigger chances to beat the Automaton scum. Also, the progression on Ustotu is way higher than on Wezen, so it’ll take the players less time to liberate it.
Helldivers 2 Players Are Optimistic They’ll Complete the Major Order
Some Helldivers 2 players have doubts that the community will liberate both Ustotu and Wezen and complete the Major Order. The majority of the community wholeheartedly disagrees. You see, Helldivers will fight until the last moment.
One player, hestebanell, stated: “I think we will get it done, Helldivers have been consistently diving. We even ignored the defense that was a distraction just yesterday. Even if we can’t complete it though, it’s still a big win for us. If we fail the next MO will be an interesting defense effort”.
Narroc added: “This will be close, but I think we can do it. The last bot MO was a close call as well. After taking Variliya 5, Wezen will not have an active supply line to another bot-controlled world, meaning it could well have a reduction or even nullification in resistance. We shall see, I’ll be doing my part”.
We’ll gladly join the players and do our part, first on Ustotu, then on Wezen. Remember, the only way that the community can complete the MO is if we stick together. So, bring your trusty Commando and meet us there. For managed democracy!
