When Did The Finals Come Out? The Finals Release Date

When did The Finals Release

Before the full release of the game, The Finals had a series of Closed and Open tests. All of the testing for the game took place during the latter half of 2022 and nearly until the game’s release in 2023. The following are the dates for all Closed and Open tests for The Finals: 

  • Closed Alpha testing started on September 29, 2022, and lasted until October 3, 2022.
  • The Closed Beta test happened from March 7, 2023, to March 22, 2023
  • The second Closed Beta test was from June 14, 2023, until June 21, 2023
  • The Open Beta test started on October 26, 2023, and lasted until November 5, 2023.  

The successful Closed Alpha and Beta testing was later followed by a highly popular Open Beta test. This was something of a surprise positive for the gaming community. The Finals was released during the Game Awards 2023 on December 7, 2023. The unexpected release date of The Finals had delighted the gaming community and the game hit its peak player count a few days later.
