Skull and Bones is the long-awaited pirate game from Ubisoft. Embark on a journey of plundering and piracy in the Indian Ocean. You’ll encounter other players, different factions, and even sea monsters. To hunt those monsters and merchant ships you need weapons and a mighty ship of your own. To craft those, you’ll need different materials, and one of those materials is Casting Sand. How to get it, where to find it? Let’s see. Let’s see how to get Casting Sand in Skull and Bones.

How to Get Casting Sand in Skull and Bones

Casting Sand is a material you cannot harvest. Rather, you must plunder it from other ships, or find it on shipwrecks. Head on to the Coast of Africa region, on the western end of the map. On the northern part of that area is the location named Pembe and islands Jiwe and Harufu. Between these three locations is a trade route. Casting Sand can be found predominantly on this trade route. You can search the shipwrecks on the coastline, and they might have some Casting Sand. Remember to upgrade your Crowbar to at least Level 2.

But, we’re here to plunder, so look out for any trade ships moving along this route. Use your Spyglass on each ship, to see which of them carries Casting Sand in its cargo. Remember that boarding those ships can yield more Casting Sand, instead of sinking them with canons.
