A new upgrade has been sneakily added to the game. Read on to see when can you unlock the Catalog Expansion upgrade in Helldivers 2.
In Helldivers 2, there is so much that you can unlock and upgrade. You get new weapons, Armor, and cosmetics by purchasing Warbonds and spending Medals. You can also collect Samples during your missions, that you spend on Ship Modules upgrades. Ship upgrades were divided into several subcategories, with three upgrades in each of them. But now, a new, fourth upgrade has appeared in one of them, that is still unavailable to unlock. So, with that in mind, let’s see when can you unlock the Catalog Expansion Ship Module in Helldivers 2.
Helldivers 2: When Can You Unlock Catalog Expansion
There is no official information on when the new Calalog Expansion will be available to unlock. The majority of the community believes that it will become available with the release of the next Warbond, on April 11. We expect a lot of updates in that period, so it makes sense that a new Ship upgrade will also be released.
We have no info on the cost of this new Module. The most expensive upgrades needed around 80 Common, 80 Rare, and 10 Super Uranium Samples, so chances are that the Catalog Expansion will be priced somewhere along those lines. It seems that you’ll have to have Power Steering (and both Targeting Software Upgrade and Nuclear Radar) unlocked before you can get this one.
Update: the Catalog Expansion has been removed from the list. New Level 4 Modules have been added on April 11, but Catalog Expansion is nowhere to be seen. We have no further info on whether Catalog Expansion was a mistake or if will we see it in the future.
What Is Catalog Expansion in Helldivers 2
Catalog Expansion is a Ship Module upgrade. You can find it in the Ship Modules section of your Ship Management terminal. Scroll down to the Bridge subsection, and it is the last one there.
Its description states that it adds new Stratagem permits that can be purchased through the Ship Management terminal, as usual. We have no information on what those new Stratagems are, and we’ll update this as soon as anything is revealed.
