Helldivers 2 has quickly become one of the most popular games of the moment, beating out Palworld for the top spot on Steam charts over the weekend. While the player base has faced several recurring issues with server outages and failed matchmaking, the general response remains positive overall. At the price of just $40, the latest release from Arrowhead Game Studios offers up a pretty substantial amount of content, from a long list of upgrades to earn to trophies and Warbond Battle Pass rewards. This has fans wondering: What’s the endgame in Helldivers 2? Does it have one? Luckily, the road doesn’t end here.
- Enlist in the Helldivers and join the fight for freedom across a hostile galaxy in a fast, frantic, and ferocious third-person shooter.
- Become a Legend – You will be assembled into squads of up to four Helldivers and assigned strategic missions. Watch each other’s back – friendly fire is an unfortunate certainty of war, but victory without teamwork is impossible.

Is There an Endgame in Helldivers 2?
Helldivers 2 doesn’t currently host an endgame, per se, but developers at Arrowhead Game Studios have plans to add new content to the game per its roadmap, which is currently in the works. Announced via the game’s official Discord channel, devs provided reassurance that the roadmap is “on the way.” In other words, it’s not the end for Helldivers 2, and it looks like there’s much more to come.
We’ve already received teasers for several features we can expect to see introduced down the line, including mechs like the EXO-44 Walker Exosuit. While some Helldivers 2 players have expressed discontent regarding the lack of endgame content as it stands, most are thrilled that Arrowhead has managed to pack in so many missions and upgrades to begin with — and promise even more to come.
As we await news on the upcoming roadmap, the live service third-person shooter also features two separate battle passes in the form of Warbonds. By pocketing Super Credits and Medals, you can work through the tiers to score a huge selection of sought-after rewards.
