Once done, each mission grants some rewards, experience points being one of them. But, only recently, there was an issue concerning XP points. How to Fix Not Getting Any XP in Helldivers 2?
It seems that this error was temporary as players report that they are getting XP once again. But, if you are among the unfortunate few who are still suffering from this issue, players recommend that you restart Helldivers 2. A simple restart may refresh the connection to the servers, and increase your chances of getting XP after a mission. You can always submit a ticket to the devs, but, they are already aware of the problem and are working on it.

- Become a Legend – You will be assembled into squads of up to four Helldivers and assigned strategic missions. Watch each other’s back – friendly fire is an unfortunate certainty of war, but victory without teamwork is impossible.

Why Am I Not Getting Any XP?
The reason players aren’t getting XP after missions is that the developers are performing live maintenance. On January 11, Helldivers 2’s official Twitter account posted: “Attention recruits, we will now be performing live server maintenance. During this maintenance we expect there to be larger disruptions to the servers for a limited period of time.” This maintenance is about some matchmaking issues and improvements, as far as we learned.
Will I Get my XP?
It does not look like players will get their lost XP. It happened during live maintenance and any player progression is most probably lost. On the other hand, Arrowhead Game Studios may offer some bonuses in compensation for the lost XP. Something like Double XP Weekend will probably set the record straight.
