Great news for all the players wishing for some new content. A new Warbond, called Truth Enforcers, is coming to Helldivers 2 next Thursday, October 31. We know that many players were hoping for some news regarding Liberty Day, however, this announcement is anything but disappointing.
What Will You Get in the Truth Enforcers Warbond?
On October 24, the official Helldivers 2 account on X shared the announcement. It read: “The truth is out there, Helldivers–get equipped with the tools to tell it! The Truth Enforcers Warbond lands on October 31st”. Alongside, the devs shared a short video showcasing what was to come, as well as the latest blog post that gave more details on the Warbond.
The new Warbond will give the players “Ministry of Truth-approved equipment” that will turn the Helldivers into Truth Enforcers. This Warbond will offer new weapons, cosmetics, a booster, an emote, and more.
When it comes to weapons, two new primaries will be added, the SG-20 Halt and the SMG-32 Reprimand. The SG-20 is described as “a pump-action shotgun, similar to the Punisher, that can alternate between stun rounds and armor-penetrating flechette rounds”. The SMG-32 Reprimand is a heavy SMG. “It has a cool slap reload, just like in the accurate, true-to-life movies you love”.
Also, let’s not forget about another addition, the PLAS-15 Loyalist plasma pistol. The devs noted: “Come on, it’s got “loyal” in the name already. It also allows you to shoot semi-auto style, or you can charge it up for a shot with more kick”.
Now, you’ll want to dress to impress while you try out your new weapons. The Warbond will supply you with the UF-50 Bloodhound medium armor and the “Pride of the Whistleblower” cape. Both of these will have the Unflinching passive, which will reduce stagger when you’re hit.
For those who want to flex some more, don’t worry. The Warbond will provide you with the Inconspicuous Black Pattern cosmetics for your hellpods, exosuits, and Pelican-1. You’ll also get a new title, Free of Thought, a new emote – At Ease, and a new Booster – Dead Sprint.
Helldivers Love the Concept of the Upcoming Warbond
Many Helldivers 2 players were quick to point out that the new Warbond, Truth Enforcers, looks amazing. The designs are great, and many simply adore the red and black combination of colors.
Medical_Officer noted: “Insane drip, but not terribly practical passive. Which just further proves we need a way to swap around armor passives”. Another player, Civil-Addendum4071, added: “SMG and a shotgun? Spooky Holiday for the friggin’ win”.
