Glass is needed to craft some cool items so read on to see how to make and use it in LEGO Fortnite.
LEGO Fortnite is a casual spin-off of Fortnite. Instead of running around, shooting other players, and trying to survive, you can relax while slowly making your little LEGO village. Inspired by popular crafting and survival games, LEGO Fortnite has everything that you may ask for: exploration, crafting, and a little combat.
Each update brings some improvements and fixes, and can also deliver some new items, recipes, and materials. One item just like that is Glass, which is needed to craft other useful items. So, let’s see how to make and use Glass in LEGO Fortnite.
LEGO Fortnite: How to Make Glass
To make Glass in Fortnite LEGO, you need two units of Sand and one Brightcore. Combine those materials in the Metal Smelter and you will get one Glass.
- To get Sand, you need to head over to a biome that has sandy terrain, like Dry Valley or the beaches. Don’t forget to bring a Shovel. Once there, find a sandy patch of terrain and start digging. The better the quality of your Shovel, the more Sand per dig you will get.
- As for Brightcore, you can find some inside Lava Caves, in the Dry Valley biome. That makes heading to the Dry Valley the best course of action, as there you will find both Sand and Brightcore.
Once you get all of the required materials, bring them over to your Metal Smelter. Remember that your village needs to be at least Level 9, and you need 3x Blast Cores,15x Brightcores, and 35x Obsidian Slabs to make a Metal Smelter.
As mentioned earlier, you need to combine two Sands and one Brightcore to make one Glass.
How to Use Glass to Craft Items in LEGO Fortnite
Since Glass is a relatively new addition to LEGO Fortnite, it does not have that many uses. But, for now, you need Glass to craft two new items: a Spyglass and a Basic Compass.
- Spyglass (2x Glass, 1x Wolf Claw) – Adds basic navigation to the HUD.
- Basic Compass (4x Glass, 1x Knotwood Rod) – A telescopic tool that magnifies distant views.
Naturally, both of these require a Crafting Bench.
