Everything You Need To Know About Cursed Llamas in Fortnite

Fortnite new cursed llamas

Mysterious cursed llamas have been seen roaming the Island in Fortnite. Legends speak of mythic powers that can be obtained by destroying them. As part of the latest collab between Fortnite and Jujutsu Kaisen, players will have a chance to take part in activities that closely resemble the famous anime and manga. From new events, Battle Pass, shop items, and the previously mentioned cursed llamas. But don’t let them confuse you, we’ll explain their significance and what you can get out of them.

What Are the Cursed Llamas in Fortnite?

The first glimpses of cursed llamas were datamined long before the Jujutsu Kaisen collab was announced. The community wasn’t sure what they represented, but things have been put into perspective now that the context is clear. As said by Ako on Twitter, when you break one, you can get cursed techniques. They are equivalent to Mythic weapons, so make sure they don’t fall into the wrong hands.

Whenever you see a cursed llama roaming the island, it’s a good idea to break it open and get one of the two cursed techniques. You can get either the Straw Doll Technique or the Hollow Technique: Purple.

The Straw Doll Technique allows the player to launch curse-filled nails at the enemy, similar to Nobara Kugisaki in the anime. It represents a precise long-range attack that can decimate your opponents with lightning speed.

The Hollow Technique: Purple is a combination of different cursed techniques from the anime like the one Satoru Gojo uses. It’s represented as a large purple blast that deals damage to structures and enemies alike. This potent weapon combines the effects of both AoE and DoT attacks into one destructive package.

No matter which technique you manage to obtain, be wary of other players. If you die, they can loot them from you, thus gaining the powers for themselves.
