Diablo 4 is one of the most anticipated releases to come about in quite a while. Fans are getting prepared with preorders already, but what if you want to spend a little extra on a special edition? There are three editions of Diablo 4 to purchase, each with its own bonuses and cosmetics. Each edition is available on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC, so the only thing guiding your purchase is what you find interesting to own, regardless of console.
What Are the Diablo IV Special Editions?
Listed below are all three editions of Diablo 4 that include the base game:

- Digital Deluxe
- Ultimate
Each has various levels of perks, with some being cosmetics but others including early access or heightened battle pass progression.
Keep in mind some of the perks presented will be available in some of Blizzard’s other IPs. These perks are available in every edition, so note that if you play other Blizzard titles you will get slightly more out of your purchase.

What Diablo IV Edition Should I Buy?
The higher price point for the game may make some hesitate, but the Digital Deluxe Edition gets our vote for the best edition. Early Access to both the Open Beta and Diablo 4’s full release seems worth the extra price, and the extra mount doesn’t hurt.
Blizzard has stated that the battle pass will be cosmetic only and won’t gate your progression, so feel free to invest in the Ultimate Edition if you’re planning on showing off the heights of Diablo 4’s fashion, but skip it if you aren’t that invested in your looks.
