Please Stop Teasing Me With Crash, Sony

Steph from GamersFTW writes: "For those of us who still cling unyieldingly to the hopes of a Crash Bandicoot revival, the latest little teaser should renew that unfounded hope. It should. I’m not sure that the passion of even the hardiest fans can endure tease after trolling tease; for once this just feels like a reminder of how many times we’ve been let down"."

Crash Bandicoot reveal at E3 2016

Believe

ScorpiusX2999d ago (Edited 2999d ago )

Yet no news of Activision selling an IP that almost everyone is wanting , get the feeling had they sold it would have made headlines . Seeing how no headline of such were reported am guessing Activision still owns it and is using all this as free press for it .

I literally just want to see the room go black and then hear

"Sony Interactive Entertainment presents...a Sony First Party production...Created and developed by NAUGHTYDOG (Or Japan/Sanzaru Games etc)"

Then hear the the inside of a box been rattled around only for the screen to show the box open with all the Crash characters come out.

Announce Crash Bandicoot 4 (a continuation of the old games)

In the mean time leading up to the game they say that a HD remaster with all the Crash games are coming with trophy support and online support for Crash Team Racing

Kavorklestein2999d ago

When does any E3 presentation (whether on stage or on screen) ever say a term like:
"Sony first party Production" ???
Or "Microsoft first party production"
First party is a term that people who talk about games like to use, not really a catchy term to show or say during a trailer or reveal.

Other then that tho, I can picture your scenario pretty well and that would be awesome for Sony fans.

-Foxtrot2999d ago

Because that's kind of what the guy used to say in the Crash Bandicoot intros

Except instead of "First party production" it was "Universal Studios Production"

Since Universal won't be involved it's the only thing that would fit and get the point out in the conference that it's not multiplatform but first party

smashman982999d ago

You know what I wanna see...

that guy in the costume come on stage with the megaphone just talking all kinds of smack lol

Aloy-Boyfriend3000d ago

We are getting our mascot back!
'bout damn time!!

UltraNova3000d ago (Edited 3000d ago )

About damn time indeed...

Imagine this>> Sony opens E3 2016 with a live feed of Crash Bandicoot crash visiting Redmond holding a loudspeaker saying "I'm back b****s, fear and tremble!!"

Then Neil Druckman from ND appears on stage to reveal the new Crash game and show the first trailer.

That would be a megaton to remember...

Great times!!

@disagrees

Did I touch a nerve? Oops...

DarkOcelet2999d ago

Unless Activison is making the game then they can keep it.

God i hope Sony are the ones making this game. I am so tired of Mediocre Crash games from Activision.

-Foxtrot2999d ago (Edited 2999d ago )

Yeah if they use the new Crash design like that "Wanted" post used a few days ago then they can keep it.

Design is horrible...the "tribal tattoos" man ¬¬

Oh don't get me started on what they've done to Aku Aku

Yukes2999d ago

Agreed. That's the big question, isn't it? We're all getting excited about a new Crash, but who is going to bring him back to life?

MasterCornholio3000d ago

If Crash doesn't arrive after all the teasing Sony will be the biggest trolls in gaming.

1996 Voted as ‘Best Year in Gaming’ by UK Public

Have you ever wondered what the best year in gaming was? Well wonder no more! The British public have had their say, and voted for 1996.

Limitedtimestruggle589d ago

I have some many fond memories as a 10 year old gamer from back then! The best of times!

Dfooster589d ago

Yeah that is a good choice. Great times

Snakeeater25589d ago

Lol Nintendo 64 … talk about a shitty year for gaming

Old McGroin588d ago

The N64 was amazing at the time, how old are you, 12?

CobraKai588d ago

Mario 64, Mario Kart, WaveRace. They’re prolly too young to appreciate em. My kids love the N64.

Terry_B588d ago

No..1996 was not a good start for the N64. The system had a lousy start in comparison to the SNES, Playstation and probably even the Sega Saturn.

CobraKai588d ago

So…. Nevermind the first time Resident Evil or Tomb Raider was released, a damn near arcade perfect port of Tekken 2, Quake, Wipeout, Crash Bandicoot, Super Mario RPG, Nights, Panzer Dragoon Zwei? It’s shitty cuz the old N64 is it?

BrainSyphoned589d ago (Edited 589d ago )

More of a 97 person myself.
FF7, Symphony of the Night, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, Dynasty Warriors, Diablo, Fallout, Tomb Raider 2, Mega Man Legends, GoldenEye, Turok, Wing Commander Prophecy, Star Fox 64, Einhander, Tobal 2, Bushido Blade, Colony Wars, Ultima Online. Was a great year to start working at Funcoland.

You beat me to it. I loved both years, but 97 was one of my favorite years ever.

Marcello588d ago

2013 was a good year too. Dead Space 3, The Last of Us, GTA5, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Tomb Raider reboot, Bioshock Infinite, Batman: Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Grid 2 & more.

Limitedtimestruggle588d ago

Dead Space 3? That game only deserves to be on rock-bottom lists. In my honest opinion.

Marcello588d ago

Its is very Marmite that game but to me it was only that love story nonsense that was bad, really bad.
