What games again? Nintendo hasn't released any major games for 3DS yet. Usually they would've released one by now. They need all the sales possible, because if Sony releases de NGP/Vita at $250-300, it'll be a beast to beat. You can clearly see that with all the hype for it. So far nothing negative has been said about the console (public opinion wise and those who have taken it for a spin)
I say, having a touchpad on the back is pretty innovative. So many possible options for it, especially since it's the same size as the screen itself. I can't wait to see what some devs will use it for. Give it to kojima, he will find something amazing for it.

Yep, I agree. I used to hate Wii (LOVED revolution) but I got used to it, I used to hate Kinect and got used to it, same with project natal, NGP, etc.

DS was clearly the successor to the Game Boy, so why did they call it DS? Wii to gamecube, gamecube to N64, etc.
I'll get used to the name (hey it's not as bad as Wii, and we all got used to that). I do like the fact that they are changing. I do like the fact that Nintendo change's their console name all the time (or most of the time). I'll welcome my Vita overlord.

I don't mind them taking out the internal storage, but IF the ram rumor is true...I guess I'll have to skip next gen sony handheld. My smartphone has 512mb of ram, no excuses.
EDIT: Did Sony ever confirm that the NGP had 512mb? I know some reports said it was, and I'm not doubting them, but Sony can just come out and say "oh, we never said it was 512mb, we actually never released tech specs, so it wasn't the final build" or some bullshit like that

Releasing a new console basically means the death of the previous one, just look at the wii and PSP. That doesn't sound like support to me.
It's been 5 years since the PS3 was released, and it doesn't seem that its cycle will end anytime soon, now the 360 on the other hand...I say 1 or 2 years tops (usually when there is an absence of "AAA" games, it means its cycle is ending).
