How can you say the difference is the same?
PS2 had hundreds of exclusive games, third party AND first party, while wii barely has first party exclusive that are great (about two or threeare released per year), while PS3 has a large amount of first party exclusives that are good (80%+).
Sales wise it just doesn't compare, Wii has 85 million sold while PS2 has 150 million, Wii has sold twice as much as their competition, PS2 sold more than 7 times as much ...
I doubt a console will ever match what the PS2 did, sales wise and support wise. PS2 had so many exclusive titles, especially good third party support, something that Nintendo consoles will lack, unless Nintendo changes their way. Sales wise, Wii doesn't compare to PS2.
Do these things actually improve FPS gaming?

DrHouse- trolling or not, unfortunately its the truth. We all know a new xbox is bound to be released in a year or so, and we all know the only big exclusive title to come out this year is gears of war. Would be a great help if you would list other titles, so I can buy them :) and please, don't start listing Arcade games or semi-mediocre games, big titles please. Hopefully Fable 4 is announced at e3.
good thing MS stopped piracy with this...almost at the end of its lifespan, also the fact that only Gears of War 3 is the only must have exclusive title this year. Very smart of them.
I bought the console the day it came out, so I had zero idea on how it would be, it was a gamble, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Did the same thing with the DS and it payed of great, so many great titles, too many in fact, but the wii was the other way around. It has its titles, but not enough to warrant the purchase IMO. I took the gamble and it didn't pay off, it isn't the end of the world, we'll see what they aim for next. I'll probably wait till I purchase t...

The most obvious choice would be from the gears of war universe, for the fact that it's the only exclusive game with enough blood and gore to fit in the MK universe, but choosing one of the cogs would not make sense because they are slow as hell, and by the looks of it, the new MK game is fast as hell (compared to past MK at least), so I was thinking, why not pick the locust that is a boss battle in Gears of War 2? I don't know...

I did google it and I edited my comment a few minutes after, like I said, those are worldwide sales buddy, not US only. The numbers I gave you are US only, imagine including Japan, Europe and the rest of the world.
Like I said, China and many other asian countries have banned home consoles because they are worried it will take too much time out of children's lives, and other bullshit as well, but for some reason PC games aren't completely banned at all. Even with cons...
So you're saying that it wont multitask? then what's the point of calling it a next gen console if it can't even multitask. If you're going to make a more powerful console than a PS3 and 360, you need more ram so the game wont run like shit, we can see it on some PS3 and 360 games with major slowdown. Just give it 1gb of RAM and i'll be happy.
