It's not bad timing, it's just a good not great game. That's OK. Not everything has to be the best ever. It's pretty, but isn't the best use of an open world and the story is straight sci-fi cliche.

Barf. JRPG isn't discriminatory. It's a way to describe one of the branches of RPGs. There are gameplay mechanics associated with them that wester RPGs don't have. Didn't realize Yoshida was so soft.

I'd disagree that "most games are open world." Most games are not open world. Massive AA and AAA RPG style games are mostly open world and for those I think it makes sense.

Stream it via GamePass. If Nintendo and MS say it'll be on there, they know how to get it on there.

1) 90% of people saying they won't play it will be day 1
2) Open betas are less about finding bugs and more about stress testing networks for online play, which does need to be done. Yes, they could do it for free, but they're a business so I don't see an issue with locking beta access behind pre-orders to control numbers.
3) It's going to be an amazing game and anyone that the nk mechanics from Diablo Imortal will be in this Don understand the difference bet...

Yes, plenty of gamers have lots of disposable income. To be mainstream you need more than them.

VR will likely never be mainstream and PSVR2 certainly isn't going to push it there. The price point is waaaay too high to become mainstream when you factor in you also need a PS5. Most people can't justify that $ for a platform that won't have a ton of games. Wearing a headset while gaming is a barrier that will keep VR from ever becoming truly mainstream even if it becomes more popular. It's powerful and impressive hardware, but it'll remain what psvr was, a niche produc...

She's worth over a billion dollars. No boycotts of anything are going to affect her at all, you're only hurting everyone that actually made the game.

How is that different than Sony buying all the studios they've purchased or paying for exclusives?

No. The campaign was a 10. The issues Infinite had wee battle pass related and the ability to churn out new multiplayer content. Switching to Unreal I stead of sticking with the Slipstream engine is to make it easier to develop for.

"already." I feel people's expectations for games have gotten out of wack from Apex and Fortnight.

Except they've said repeatedly its a single player, story driven, Arkane game that you can play coop, NOT a left 4 dead, destiny, or looter shooter style game.

Clearly @mkis007 is the only one that has any idea of how these things work. Correct, and MS would win easily in open court (just look at any legal expert, not gaming media, reports). This MS/Activision deal doesn't check any of the monopoly boxes. Sony is and will remain the market leader after the deal. MS won't even move into second place after the acquisition. Most importantly, it's an example of verticle integration, which is typically rubber stamped by regulatory bodies. FTC...

It has to be done in by this summer, that was announced when he audition was. Big deals like this have end dates. MS will get approval from Europe and has already said they'll close without FTC approval if needed. Yes. They can close the deal even while the FTC fights it.

Most anticipated is Starfield. One of the list anticipated, definitely. Wont win GOTY awards even if it should because review scores will be like 20% lower because people will make about JK instead of fairly judging the game.

No.

Some people are OCD or at lease OCD when it comes to video games. For them, sure I guess. Maybe don't have need to get every ? and see every marker on a map and just play the game. If you live the game, sure, look at the achievements after and see if there is anything you're close to and go for it.

This person clearly has no knowledge of the Pillars of Eternity universe and the type of game Avowed will be. Much closer to an Elder Scrolls game than Souls-like.

Lol. How is that different than the other "games" he made? Last of us was a bad game with a cool story. Part 2 was a better game with a bad story. Neither Nailed gameplay mechanics. It's like GOW 2...Coolish movie but not a great game.

People like mobile garbage and will pay for anything their Supreme Overlord Apple tells them to pay for. So, no, it shouldn't be surprising Apple arcade is doing well.
