Good. At this point they need to give the franchise to another company or let Kojima work on it.
It wasn't scary, but it was creepy. Being in space all alone really gave the best kind of isolation. Playing with a friend in co-op (or A.I. co-op) automatically takes out every horror element.
The sky's not blue, it's purple.
Well it makes me question if the reviewer even likes JRPGs in the first place. You couldn't pay me to review certain genres of games like sports or something like that.
If it's Metroid in the sense of Metroidvania, then my excitement just went through the roof.
Game Informer is a frustration. Sorry you guys can't handle JRPGs anymore and only want action, shooters, and WRPGs. What a bunch of losers.
And I don't care if this is someone's opinion, something is off when you're literally the only review to give it this low of a score (low in context to the rest of them).
Expect to see a return to greatness, then. Hopefully Final Fantasy XV will be in this vein.
I always whack it on my Vita.
Damn, and I had trouble going across the street to exchange expired Mountain Dew today.
Not everything is a CoD rip-off just because it has action in it.
I'll take Ni No Kuni for "priceless", please.
First one was great with a great foundation. I would like to see more RPG elements, a little more horror themes, and greater weapon diversity with weapons that don't break after 4 hits.
Ironic since these are the people that are always ACTUALLY molesting children.
Hope it gets made. I've talked to American a few times. He's a really down-to-earth awesome guy! Wish nothing but the best for him and Alice 3. Thought Madness Returns was excellent.
Why didn't this get made instead of what Square is making?
Good price for a fantastic action game.
Glad to see a lot of people agree with me. Sick of seeing all the hate for this series on here. ME2 and ME3 improved combat, graphics, stability, and the leveling up in ME3 was the best. I can't decide what is the better game: ME2 or ME3. I even loved ME3's ending without the extended cut, probably the only person in existence that did. I love leaving certain things open because the best stories allow you to theorize your own ideas about what happened while still having enough closure...
Finally, someone with sense! I hate when people on here say things like, "You love FFXIII? You must never have played the originals." First of all, that doesn't matter. Second, I've played ever FF ever released and FFXIII is in my top 5 (#4, actually behind VII, VIII, and X, respectively).
So yeah, the game is amazing and gets a lot of hate for what is in my eyes no reason at all. They act as if every FF game wasn't as linear as this.
...
It's one of my favorites in the series. I thought the story was fantastic, characters interesting, adored the setting, soundtrack was awesome, and the battle system was amazing.
Sure it might have been a little too linear but it was justified in the story.
Glad to see someone share my love for the game. Actually going to do another playthrough after Ni No Kuni.
FF fans are too divisive to have a sophisticated debate most of the time. FFVII is my fave and I think it had the best story, but FFX is a close-second, so I have no beef.
