"First week of sales"? The game released a day before the charts did. Saturday probably wasn't even included yet lol. Let's wait till the end of this week and see what the numbers say.

Actually, it's just about a full day of sales. The game went on sale on Friday the 23th here in the UK.

You do realize the engine doesn't determine how a game plays.. right? The engine is the technology behind it, it has nothing to do with the gameplay, only with the graphics.

Oh look guys, another white knight here to rescue the women from the evil clutches of the games industry!

Sell the system on something other than Graphics, as simple as that. It's what they did with the Wii, so I don't understand why he pushes such a blatant lie into this interview.

TruthBeTold.

I don't give a damn about the WiiU or its reputation, I don't really care what people think of it. And whilst I'm not getting a WiiU, I'm a big fan of Nintendo, having spend most of my youth years on their consoles. On the other hand, I have a Masters degree in Computer Science. I know how hardware works, and I know that a GPU can't replace a CPU, nor can a CPU replace a GPU.

Do you even know what makes a gpu powerful? Please ...

"Developers raise prices so they can get more money , Do you think if someone built a full proof anti piracy system thats 100% secure do you think games would lower in price?? "

Games wouldn't be at the price they are on now if piracy hadn't been a factor. Much like fuel prices though, or prices in general, taking piracy away now would not result in lowering of prices, as the damage has already been done, the price is already this high, and nobody's goin...

When I say slow I'm not talking about clock speed. I'm talking slow as in Pentium 4 compared to a Dual Core. Your incorrect assumption means the rest of your argument is already invalid, as you misunderstood what I said and took it in terms of a buzz word, rather than its actual meaning.

When I say slow, I mean the CPU can perform fewer tasks per clock cycle.

"CPU's don't process graphics and the only aspect of RAM that affects graphics is...its "size"."

Without going into detail, I'd be very careful when saying that. It's actually incorrect - the CPU deals with quite a bit of graphics, and there are many factors in RAM that determine how well the graphical pipeline works.

Interesting fact about RAM is that the larger it gets, the slower it becomes.

It's not about understanding - A good GPU does not make up for a slow CPU. Sure some of the tasks can be delegated to the graphics card, but at some point everything goes through the CPU, and the more load you put on the GPU, the more task delegation the CPU has to perform, the less time it has for performing its own tasks.

On top of that, GPU's are naturally worse than CPUs at performing certain tasks, in particular if they aren't easy to perform in parallel.

It's a point and click adventure game. Asking it to have guns so you can pop some heads is like asking Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport to have an engaging story.

It's a different type of game, watching it on youtube rather than playing it kind of ruins the experience.

VulcanProject - That's a really poor analogy.

The size of the job doesn't matter in terms of performance, it's the nature of it that matters. There are quite a few graphical calculations that a CPU is much better at performing.

Finally, a comment on here I can actually agree with. People complain about Peter not living up to promises, but when he speaks about his games, he never promises anything. You can hear it in the way he speaks - he's dreaming, imagining, and he's incredibly passionate about what he does.

If anything I look up to this guy in the gaming industry, because unlike pretty much every other developer out there, he's willing to take risks and innovate. My mind is blown by ...

We don't even know what specs the Ps4 has, only a bunch of fabricated rumors come to mind.

I'd say wait with this comment until we actually know what the PS4 is made of.

I agree, other games in the genre have to be looked at and compared to.

But a point that can be made here is that it's really easy to let fanaticism get in the way of an objective review, which in the case of Gamespot does seem to have happened.

If you start off the review by saying that you love Super Smash you're basically admitting that the rest of the review is anything but objective.

Yeah, lets put a Pentium 2 in the next Playstation and Xbox to ensure they don't overheat as well!

That would be pretty lame.

No, I'd prefer it if the game took place after the events of the ME trilogy, but it has to have a different enemy than the reapers.

SPOILER WARNING:
It was even suggested in the Mass Effect 3 ending that the reapers had been gone for a long time.

Lol I love how people ignorantly claim that ARM is the end-all be-all for console processors. They're pretty rubbish for anything but mobile systems since focus is on battery life, not performance.

DD's are shitty on consoles in general - PS3 allows the use of third party hard drives but games are like 25GB each. 360 only allows for insanely expensive proprietary drives, though games take up less space.

In either case, you'll be off much cheaper if you just buy games from retailers.

As for your statement about Ps3 fans flip flopping - that's not something exclusive to them. 360 and Nintendo fans do the exact same thing ;). Remember the whol...
