I think the only reason the Wii has gotten this terrible rep is because of Nintendo's bad marketing. The Wii is quite a console, in fact it's more of a console than its competition (the same way I felt with the GC). Why? Well, it plays games. It's not a media machine, or a computer with a game-focused OS. It just plays games. I like how Nintendo makes their consoles not feel like computers anymore (even though they are). Congratulations PS3. Hope your console succeeds, because it deserves to. The amount of time and thought the makers put into it, the nice tech it has inside, the ability to survive into the next generation- I'm not really surprised that it matches up with 360 sales. May we all play our consoles and have fun and be successful until the next generation, where we will do it again!
I mean, Smash already had amazing replay value, now they add a full single-player platformer plus co-op plus online...

Everyone deserves good games. Everyone paid good money for a console. Everyone deserves to succeed and feel good about their purchase. Anyone who tries to make others feel bad or bashes other consoles is ruining the experience.

Dude, every console has exclusives. Get over it. I'm not paying more than I make in a year (under legal working age) just to get these 'special' games. I bought Wii for it's exclusives just like you bought a PS3 for Sony's. Not everyone likes the same games as you, so learn to recognize other's opinions.
Get with the picture, man. Mini game, Gamecube ports, and Gamecube 1.5 jokes all were disproved after Metroid Prime 3 came out.
