That is so freaking awesome.
I never really looked into the Cube pad that much- it seems like Nintendo was just gearing up for a revolution in game control with it's controller. I never new they put that much thought into the controls, but it makes since now, as their new console is designed around them (Wii, if you couldn't tell).
Yeah, it seems like the controller didn't work for some people- my friend included. He liked the PS2 controller, which I couldn't use at all. Very odd.
I'll bet you didn't actually read the article, did you?
That after making fun of Wii owners for waving their arms around like idiots, the PS3 fanboys are now latching on to a system that actually makes them get up and... well wave their arms around like idiots.
Card game looks cool though. I'd get it, but the $600 plus cards plus game plus eye pricetag looks a bit steep just to live out Yu-Gi-Oh.
The dumbest thing about this article is that it tried to make it seem like an actual Wii game got a 2. "Gamespot gives 2/10 to Wii's Samurai Ghost". Sounds like a new game for the Wii called Samurai Ghost got a 2, not a VC game
I think you should buy a new keyboard. Your caps lock key seems to be broken.
You guys seriously sound brainwashed. "Shine high?" Seriously.
This is true; however if you like some particular area you're going to pay less for a console that specializes in it. Wii for party games, Xbox for shooters, and other cliche. A casual gamer isn't going to buy an expensive PS3 for one or two games.
This is something I've been thinking for a while. All of his examples are pretty good. Metroid Prime has a very lame story on the surface, but scans, lores, and visual storytelling really make it cool. I haven't actually played the other games, so I'm not sure I can talk about them as much.
As for his two types of storytelling, I think the perfect medium is right in the middle in the form of a more "playable cutscene". Instead of having the player stop and watch a...
Zing!
iPhone is no invention. iPhone is innovation. Same with just about everything else on that list, including game consoles.
I swear, 'invention' is getting thrown around a lot these days. There is very little else in the world to be invented (that we can think of), only endless innovations.
Boycott Sony instead. More reasons.
RIP Lik-Sang.
I hope you're being sarcastic. CNN is always biased.
I think your perceived maturity level would rise if you omitted all of the cursing.
Don't watch Planet in Peril anyways. What BS.
I'm in high school, and I write a heck of a lot better than that :P
Try Metroid Prime 3 as far as Wii games. If you've only played Zelda it's no wonder Wii's on the bottom.
I think it sounds like this guy knows what he's talking about. Regardless, though, the PS3 is a very powerful and capable machine.
It's pretty cool with several people. I first downloaded it with some friends and we all laughed at Chuck Norris and Metroid and Jack Black and the other Miis out there.
