It's the 320gb SKU so it's actually saving $50 on the console and throwing in the game on top of that. (Unless they're planning a price drop soon, which may be the case in light of the Wii U coming out at a competitive price).
As for the PS+, it's just a carrot to try and get you to sign up for it at the end of the month. You're not going to be missing out on anything by having it, or not, really. But at the very least it will get you a nice bundle of game...
Just in time for a lock-out.
I plan on picking up both of these titles the day they hit shelves, should that ever happen. If SE wants more of my money, they just need to make that happen. I'm not about to go flag waving to give it to them. If they don't want it, I'm happy to keep it in my wallet. I'm pretty tired, at this point, of waiting on them to follow through with their promises.
Are we talking specifically about Europe?
I loved Mystic Quest. Great game.
This is actually more like Gaikai but not really comparable to either Gaikai or OnLive.
@HammadTheOne
I think you have some misconceptions about it. Let me break it down:
Display resolution (now often called pixel density) is measured in vertical lines per inch; The number of rows of pixels per inch.
My '42" 1080p' television is 1920 x 1080 pixels within an area 20.25" high and 36" wide. That's 53.3 pixels per inch and at 8 feet you'd better believe I can see them.
4k resolution is...
It was very well implemented in Uncharted 3. Truly the benchmark for 3D in games. There were no gimmicks in the implementation. It was just a real perception of depth and distance.
It really made a case for the benefit of the technology in games. However, not at the cost of performance. The hardware is insufficient and it's not a worthy trade-off 9 times out of 10.
I do hope that the next generation will allow games to be displayed in 3D 1080p at 60Hz per...
There there wittle boy. Evewyfing's going to be awight.
Fat chance. Fact is, Bethesda is plenty profitable with or without the PS3. You can't really threaten them in this way. All you do is hurt your own platform's community by setting a lower bar of revenue on that platform. Thus lowering the priority of it.
The only thing you can do is whine, bitch and complain non-stop until you start to actually interfere with the on-goings of their business.
I wouldn't call it a fallout. Sony owns the IP and Ninja Theory wanted to do their own thing after it. Ultimately the title was successful, but not as successful as it needed to be for either side to be really happy with it. NJ sure whined, bitched and moaned post-launch though. I can't imagine Sony would be in any rush to contract them again.
Considering where God of War is right now.. so god damn played out and in need of a break.. it may be a good time to consider ...
I hope they've added real-time CBA negotiation.
Here comes a CGI straight-to-blu ray movie.
First of all: BS
Second: whatever the piracy rate actually is, is bolstered by legitimate and potential customers who don't want to deal with your bullshit laden PC offerings.
Finally: go huff a dong
The number of studios he's closed, most recently in Vancouver and the major shift away from gaming he's taken the Xbox brand.
And his entire public posture makes me want to slap him.
Mattrick should definitely be at the top of that list. He's a putrid slime.
Someone ought to let Iwata know that you can't quantify the word unique. It's either unique or it's not.
My thoughts immediately went to Versus too. Idiots.
FFVI is on PSN and Virtual Console. Secret of Mana is also on Virtual Console as well as iOS. What kind of a 'rerelease' are they going to get that those don't qualify as?
Do you want them to create a native PC version of games you can easily emulate on 15 year old hardware?
I agree. MK has always seemed really stiff as compared to the competition.
