@guitarded77
I get it.
I also agree regarding FFXII though there's probably a lot of parallel work with FFX-2 that means porting FFX gets them halfway to porting to FFX-2. Whereas porting FFXII is an entirely new proposition. One I hope they get to once FFXHD is out.
In the meantime, I suggest playing FFXII on PC using PCSX2. The game runs really well at 1080p without any weird glitches. It's friggin' fantastic.
I don't buy it, because that would be stupid.
It's so camp but if you can stomach it, I agree, it's a fun game.
@duplissi
People still associate Radeon with ATI. They've never even given the brand a chance since the AMD acquisition. They don't even acknowledge the difference.
All signs point to MS using AMD for their next box too.
And considering there's no price announced for the PS4, the cost comparison is irrelevant either way.
It's just nVidia overtly QQing that they didn't get the contract this generation.
Every PC is potentially a Steam Box.
I see a scenario where Valve did invest in Xi3, to provide a console form factor PC for the living room. That doesn't make it a branded Steam product but Xi3 seem to believe that's enough to claim it is.
Until Valve themselves bring their own hardware to market, there is no "Steam Box" other than every PC that runs Steam. Until Valve makes an official "Steam Box", every PC manufacturer can claim...
Also, it's black and probably has at least one red LED.
Good to see someone gets it.
They didn't even pre-load.
Amateurs.
EA's a business. They exist to make money...
People vote with their wallets...
The vote is in.
Well, the portion that used to be Eidos does, anyway.
Giving people expensive options is fine. Putting up expensive roadblocks is not.
Comparing Valve and EA is a poor choice in any scenario, but especially this one.
EA answers to their shareholders.
Valve has no shareholders. They answer to their customers.
Cloud always seemed like a no-brainer to me. In fact, any character from FF7-10 would be a welcomed addition. Hell, I'd even take Serge from Chrono Cross.
I wonder if Square-Enix declined because of Dissidia.
Of course I've played GT5. I've owned GT5 since the day it was released. I love GT5! I love the whole series. I even have the PSP version.
What did I say that gave any indication otherwise? I want MORE GT5. Give me updates. Give me DLC. Give me whatever they hell they want to make into GT6. What can they possibly do in GT6 that couldn't be added to GT5?
Am I talking to a wall here? I'm mystified.
And why can't they improve upon, optimize and add new content to the game I already own and have invested considerable time into?
I'm not sure how reassuring it is.
GT5 took so damn long and never lived up to its promise of being a 'platform' on which the series would be built. It got some decent updates, to be sure.. but once again we have to start from scratch with a damn VW Bug, and for what? On the same hardware, what could a new title possibly offer that GT5 couldn't?
No. It was announced in 2009. It was first hinted that Team Ico was working on something in 2008.
Let me lift the shroud for you.
The PS4 is a black box. Ta-dah!
The dev kit is a PC. Ta-dah!
If you don't mind redoing all the art. Just like Final Fantasy 1&2 20th anniversary or Street Fighter II HD.
I have a feeling that some games would upgrade better than others.
