I think it has more to do with the failing economy and not the resurgence of the PC platform.
If this game would have came out this year, I think it would have been a big hit. The problem was it released so early in the PS3 lifecycle and there wasn't much love for the PS3 in 2007.
Great game regardless, a sequel would be awesome.

Although I kinda agree with you on some of your points, I do think there would be benefits for “teaching” gay marriage in schools. I put teaching in quotes because its not like kids are being taught to be gay, but they should be aware that gay people exist.

inFAMOUS was/is a great game. The good and evil paths is what really made this game for me. I don't think it would have been as powerful if you ONLY played as good or evil. I just wish the enemies repopulated the cities after you beat the game because there is not much to do after my good and evil playthroughs.
I think its a fun game for $10. the online could be a little more stable though...hopefully a patch will fix that.
One of the BEST games this gen. The gameplay is super solid, the graphics are clean, the lighting is awesome, and the final boss intro is AMAZING!
Really, if you consider yourself a gamer of any level, buy this game, rent this game, or borrow it from a friend and play it!
