How come nobody is complaining that a sequel is coming out so soon, and that this can be offered as DLC?....after all, Left 4 Dead 2 got A LOT of slack for it.
I own a 360 but am favorable to the PS3. I was just wondering about the double standard, not trying to be a fanboy.

The PS3 wins all kinds of awards, is used for military research computing, is used for medical research comupting, and have been bought up by companies for supercomputer use.
Has the 360 ever been used for these types of things?

While I agree with you that they could probabaly include a lot of the content they sell as DLC, it will not change. It is in fact only going to get worse. You can voice your opinion with your wallet and never buy the DLC, but there will always be a percentage of people who would buy it no matter what. Even if the dev came out and said they could have included it on the disc, many people would still buy it because they want to have everything for their favorite game.

people are complaining because you shouldn't have to pay to play a game online. I don't care if it was only the cost of the coffee cups! You shouldn't have to pay for the console, pay for the game, pay for the internet connection, and then on top of it pay to use everything you already bought in full.
That is MY problem with Live, it has nothing to do with not being able to afford it. People pay for it because you MUST in order to get full value out of everything you already p...

Yeah, the beta is very impressive. The gameplay is so solid already that it feels more like a demo. Seems like the hit detection could be improved, but the game is very addicting...even with only one map.
Really looking forward to the full release.

I agree, out of that amazing demo, the double jumping animation still looks a little silly. I could care less though because the rest of it was solid. The lighting is O M G gorgeous and the character model for Kratos is straight up bad ass.
