Looks awesome. One of the main things missing in current games. All this horsepower and we're still shooting and hitting walls and there's no effect. I know it doesn't work for all games in that it would break a game if you have a strong weapon too early or in and area where you're not supposed to have that weapon. But I figured by now that games would have awesome animation, tons of interactive objects and physics that would blow our minds with damage and destruction.

Sounds good to me. I'm down. Turn based or action RPG.

Also, if they made it like the cartoon with Hank and the gang, Dungeon Master, Tiamat and Venger, it would be an instant buy without hesitation. Lol

Ridiculous. Charging for patches. What patches? How many GaaS games have they released? How many single player games have they released so far on PS5?

Do better in what way? The system and the company are breaking records in sales. The only reason it's not better overall was because of the pandemic slowing their roll which delayed everything else.

You mean the company that gave away some of their games during the pandemic? Same company that has a les...

Yeah Mal. Like Aces of Thunder. It went from a "I'm interested." To a "you guys can forget my purchasing the game." Namco was lucky that I like Ace Combat the series and can play it flat. But that measly 3 missions was a downer. But I wasn't so upset as I bought the physical disc for $15 brand new.

I'm at the point now that if they don't port something deep or create something deep, I just won't buy and will play what I currently have...

Because some of these developers still think it's like the early days where VR players will buy or try anything to experience the immersion. But a lot of us caught wind early that some of the games were terrible, broken or less deep than a half a cup of water just by looking at the trailer, watching the review or purchasing the games when they became cheap and finding out how shallow something was that wouldn't even make PS1 release.

It's like they know we want...

Correct. Mobile gamers play because it's mostly free to play. Or you buy something that you can keep and play it unconditionally.

Introducing a subscription to play games on mobile will backfire.

I was going to say about the same thing Chris. Abriel says it's politically motivated but seemed to forget that Microsoft sent their congressman hounds after Sony to get the deal made talking about Sony has a high end Monopoly. Totally sidestepping that Microsoft was purchasing those publishers to monopolize successful franchises and IPS.

We can sit here and say that it's Square's job to grow their base on Xbox. But sales have shown that most Xbox players didn't buy enough to warrant a release on the platform. Also, it's Phil's job to grow the platform and market the games that would release there. But he doesn't. He hasn't even grown the Japanese market with Xbox to get certain games. They gave up trying after the 360 era. Never made any Japanese studios to create any.

Even Mistw...

Some gamers like owning things. Even, if installing a disc on the hard drive. Some don't like being connected to the Internet to play. Some don't like paying a subscription to play a game.

Gamers like that, like me, won't be buying into this control and manipulation. Yeah digital is okay and convenient. But there's too many downsides to digital that will create a back lash worse than what Microsoft tried with always online. Won't be every gamer. As ther...

Or, just buy the collection and play them when you want to. Today. Tomorrow. Next year. No game pass required.

Love that. Single player still rocking. I don't pay for online and haven't gave it a second thought. Only did it before because others asked me to play with them. But it was the same shooter, shooter, shooter nonsense. That's boring to me over local co-op gaming.

Other reasons were because companies think they can force gamers to have another console available, another copy of the game and pay for services to play online just to play together. That's ridicul...

He's only highlighting what's going to be there in addition to what Sony will have in 2024. We've played this game again and again for a long time that Sony has no games. And again and again, Sony has risen to the challenge and embarrassed the other side. Dropped mics. Shut mouths when it comes to real numbers and not useless metrics that don't mean shit.

PlayStation fans have never had to worry about getting high quality games compared to Microsoft. Because...

This is all you need to know:

Sony has consistently delivered brilliant single player games and will continue to do so into the next generation. Naughty Dog isn't going to miss the PS5 era as they are working on multiple projects and not just a live service game only.

Again, when I say this, gamers asked Sony for quality online games to match their single player offerings. They also bitched and complained about games not having "road maps" f...

Totally wrong about the MLB license. And Gaikai could have been bought by Nintendo or Microsoft. What exclusive games on Gaikai did Sony take away? Don't be ridiculous. Sony paid for an exclusive for Tomb Raider. They didn't buy Eidos fool. Especially with Tomb Raider still being multiplatform. Which Xbox benefited from.

During a previous era, EA bought up licenses to control sports and removed competition in football. They went after the NBA and MLB. NBA said no ...

It should be optional but it would be more interesting to see gamers play more advanced AI. It's been a request since the beginning that NPCs and bots were more intelligent and tougher and not be stupid cannon fodder. This AI I'm guessing will adapt to the player. Which is cool. If the gamer sucks, the AI will suck. If the gamer is a bad ass, the AI will kick some ass and take names.

Based on GT7 Sophy, AI will definitely give gamers a run for their money.

It won't. Fools like purple think that just because they can still download it now, that it's safe. I've bought multiple games on console and mobile that are no longer downloadable or function. Because the game was either delisted or since it was connected to the Internet, no longer works because the servers were shut down turning those games into coasters. With no update to be able to play some games offline with bots. They're gone.

But in the case of others, they can no longer can buy it or any delisted game. Just like online only games that get their servers turned off and there's no update for offline with bots.

If you like the idea of any digital game being delisted where it's no longer available at all, then you and others are fools. What's all that presentation bullshit guys like you spew?

There should be no reason any digital game should be removed. Ever.
