VGC writes, "Subsoap has created a new version of solitaire and has even added a story to it. The game starts off with the story mode that puts you in a forest looking for the way out. After a small cut scene, the game’s first area opens up. Each area has a total of 9 levels or boards. Scattered throughout each board are various items to collect. The actual game itself has cards laid face down on the board with the top card flipped over, just like the regular solitaire game. Instead of moving cards over each stack or moving to a pile in order, the board is cleared by moving cards to a single pile at the bottom of the board. "

Fairie Solitaire is just a fun card game to kill time with. Diehard GameFAN wishes there had been a little more variety and maybe more imagination used to create some more modes. However there is a lot of content in the game and is an amazingly professional job from an independent developer.
