GameKult: Having spent our hoes on a simple remake of Harvest Moon GameCube ago this year and a half, it is finally time to sample an episode specially developed for the Wii. The Tree of Serenity should meet farmers frustrated by Melody Magic inviting them into a new adventure and - at least we could imagine - much better adapted to this platform, including taking advantage of its unique maneuverability. For the past 15+ years, the Harvest Moon series has produced over 20 video games, numerous spin offs, and has inspired a slew of social farming games including Farmville and Happy Farm. With that in mind, take a look at the top 5 Harvest Moon games since the series was created in 1996.
Yeah, I thought it was pretty widely accepted as the best game of the franchise. I know it's still my favorite.
Save the Homeland and A Wonderful Life are awesome too. All Harvest Moon are very fun :)

Start with friends of mineral town, easily the best HM game.
Back to Nature and the N64 one are my favs, Magical Melody I thought was great on the Gamecube also but I am sure they are all fun.
I wish they would make some newer ones for the Wii U or the PS Vita.
