Neil Druckmann says the inspiration behind The Last of Us wasn't to make a zombie survival game, but to create the "opposite of Resident Evil."
"The Game Music Foundation are today very proud and pleased to announce an additional concert, circling back to the roots of Game Muisic Festival in Poland. Najam from eXputer writes "It's time fore a new installment in the series, not another pointless remaster."
They are working on something new. Not to be rude but it is impossibility stupid to think ND next major announcement is going to be a remaster or their next Last of Us entry is going to be another remaster.
Got that retro survival horror bug? Here's Chit Hot's picks for the seven best survival horror games from yesteryear.
Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.
I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)
4 people love Eternal Darkness.
Quick! Jump on that remake, whoever holds the rights these days.
Was my favorite series until Neil took over and put an arrow in my knee.
You can see the similarities, I hope in the newer Resident Evil games, you have the option to stealth kill zombies. Like you could in Evil Within 2.
I like the series, and maybe it's time I revisited it again cause honestly I don't remember there being much of a father daughter relationship in the first game. I remember it was mostly just killing a lot of doods, not a lot of slow moments where Joel and Ellie actually bonded. I find the over the top stuff in RE overwhelming sometimes but there's a lot more world building and focus on the mutations which is something The Last of Us lacks and I think it really needs.
