To many fans of the series, the Witcher games are some of the last great single-player role-playing games being made. Recently there have been murmurings of a possible multiplayer mode in CD Projekt RED’s upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

During CD Projekt’s Fiscal Year 2023 earnings call, CEO Michael Nowakowski said that the company is keen on licensing its IP rights to third-party developers to create mobile adaptations of its titles.
CD Projekt, the developer behind The Witcher/Cyberpunk 2077, has stated that there is no place for microtransactions in single-player games.
MP games need micros to keep the lights on. Path of Exile is a good game with micros. It can be done as long is the game is not the scheme itself.
I agree, I never pay for microtransactions, and in the few cases where I have, I've felt dirty afterwards, especially when older games used to give you so much content for free (like cosmetics).
*claps* CD Projekt RED just gets it man... They're such awesome devs. I have yet to beat the Witcher 2, but man I will ALWAYS support these guys by buying their games because of their stance on DRM. Not to mention how great they are with adding tons of content for FREE.
EDIT: I'm not sure if the Xbox 720 and PS4 tags should be on this one though. I know they've expressed interest and probably will be bringing this to those systems, but it hasn't been confirmed yet I don't believe.
Its 2013 the year of fnnnnnnn CO-OP!!!!!!
If all devs were like this the gaming world would be a better place. Don't EVER change CD Projekt Red.
Well they got my money.
