Rockstar needs to sing a different tune to ensure its future

Hooked Gamers writes: "At 12 bucks and change, Rockstar’s Max Payne 3’s sale on Steam last weekend looked too good to pass up, but all it did was show me Rockstar's total lack of understanding of what makes a game work on PC."

why, there game line up is diverse and well delivered all are at a could quality.

Also talking about the PC, no matter how much PC gamers want to keep saying it but PC gaming has stagnated (yes it may be the best to play games on) but there is no denying that consoles are the gamers choice these days and so rockstar need not worry about a PC fan moaning about them as long as the console community is happy. Not sure if that game out to direct.

However I think gta 4 on pc was much more fun purely because of modding

PC gaming has stagnated? Then why are consoles so desperate to copy them?

PC gaming is doing just fine.

You can also thank the PC for the influx of adventure games, RPG/FPS games, and games like Skyrim, Fallout, Mass Effect, Crysis, Dragon Age, Far Cry 3, etc. All those games have their root in PC-style gaming.

This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.

And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened

It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games

Lol, I remember those. I vaguely remember dying from one crashing into my car once too.

Will never forget these games on the PS2 and Xbox. Max Payne 3 was awesome, more so the arcade mode.

Abnor_Mal110d ago

Can’t wait to replay these games with updated graphics.

Would also like a remastered Max Payne3.

Knightofelemia109d ago

Hope it's done better then the GTA trilogy.

EazyC109d ago

Indeed - and if it is another shameless cash grab, they shouldn't bother. It's an insult to these classic games.
