I’ll kick this off by letting you know the bad news. If you have come along expecting a closer version to the console edition, as you would perhaps feel a sense of expectation (since this version is numbered, and not simply called “FOOTBALL”) then you will find yourself out of luck.

Entire shelves filled with decade-old FIFA and PES games spread across a dozen formats. Not all football games gathering dust in the likes of Oxfam are in fact worthless."
Just who is buying FIFA 13 on Wii U? We may never know, but there are more people buying that than there are Bayonetta 2 and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.
Sonic Boom is riding off the popularity of the TV show; it's a bad game.
And as for FIFA?
Well, guess that goes to show that there's a lot of older gamers on Wii U that wanted FIFA, then; sports games generally do out-sell action games, and Platinum isn't known for large sales in the first place.
I'm not worried for Bayonetta. It'll hit that 1M mark by the middle of next year, surely, at its current pace.
