Actually no, I would have been the bigger man. More importantly I would not be Phil Fish, or put myself in his position. Your statement frankly makes no sense, of course if we were Phil fish we would react the the same, the point is we are not and are commenting on his actions using our own opinions and moral compasses.

So the guy leaves the industry and cancels Fez 2. And because of this happening, there needs to be a message to the gaming community??

You know, that message should involve something around the thought process of doing what you love neverminding the naysayers and the critics. That Beer's remarks weren't enough to warrant such a desperate action. The truth is, Fish did that as a grand move to gain a response that would no doubt cater to his side. That's my objective view of the whole thing.

Truth is, we gamers can get down right ugly with our words because hell, we perfected our trash talks over multiple multiplayer gaming worlds without a flinch in the eye. Plus you add the beauty of the internet and social media, now we are people who can voice our opinions without fear of physical altercations and are protected by the 1s and 0s. Cause hey, if you get too mad, you're just letting the "internet" get the best of you.

Isn't that what we say to others who get all upset and respond with the same chaotic response as the tazmanian devil?

But Fish leaves and cancels Fez II. Something must be done about that. We need to look at what we're doing here.

Please. While these events are unfortunate, I still can't condone the fact that Fish responded hastily and forgot about those fans who wanted to play his game Fez. We tell other people, our friends, our friend's children that you shouldn't give up on your dreams because of the ignorant few. We tell people, "it's only the internet".

So how come the rules change when it comes to Fish? Packing up and fretting with sobbing eyes saying "I quit" is something that shouldn't have been done here. Fish could have gotten his point across without the use of theatrics.

Maybe people who deal with the news, journalists and bloggers should take a responsibility cree to declare that they will hold at least some sort of professionalism. It just seems like social media could use that. From Forbes magazine to this site and others, fueling senseless console wars. Cause this is what it all boils down to. Two indie devs who have been vocal about Xbox previous hard to work with dev support team now being asked about their thoughts on Xbox One's recent update of every console being a dev kit.

The guy obviously was troll baiting. But we can't talk about that? We can't talk about the responsibility of the journalists and the bloggers of late? I have seen some tackiness ever since Xbox One has came out with their now reversed policies.

Nevertheless, both of them had childish and immature behaviour and none of them are correct in what they've been saying. Besides that, Fish has always been a d*ck about everything in the industry, criticising everyone and everything when all he has done was a game in 5 years and a documentary about how much of a d*ck he is.

This is actually bad to the indie community. Most indie devs are actually really nice people and humble, but whe guys like Fish and Blow are the 'faces' of indie games, it's just not right for me. They're geniuses, but they need to stfu lol
