Hmm, that is disappointing, but it still looks good. Also the gamepad does add to the gameplay as stated in this article. I would have liked to have seen them fine tune the frame rate though. I am sure the Wii U is capable. I also noticed in this game The Xbox360 is not as clear polished looking as the others including Wii U. That is strange. Usually the 360 versions look better than PS3.

Wow, the Wii U is fighting for dear life against 7 year old consoles. :-(

Deku-Johnny4167d ago

It's not fighting for it's life. It's suffering at the hands of devs that don't know what they're doing with it (yet).

as always, the pc version is the exemplary one, and the only one to really buy if you have the option, the jaggies are hideous on all consoles, the wii u has the least but the terrible console fxaa blur garbage after filters are almost just as bad

the screen tear, the pop-in, the muddy washed out textures, the bad framerates, all the usual console suspects are present and accounted for even with this "new" console

so it seems while the wii u is a step above the 7-8 year old ps3/360, its only a small step, within the year i expect Wii u games to far, far surpass ANYTHING on ps3/360, but that isn't really saying much.

here's hoping sony and ms don't cheap out on next gen and at least make something that can compete with a gaming pc from 2009, its doubtful though

Reggie: batman looks dramatically better on Wii u then other consoles

ShaunCameron4165d ago

So Catwoman is an in-game playable character in this one as opposed to a DLC playable character in the PS360/PC version, right? I might consider double-dipping again like I did with NG3.

Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham City – Wii U vs. PS4 Graphics Comparison (Direct-Feed)

A graphics comparison of the Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham City on PS4 with Arkham City: Armored Edition on Wii U.

Segata2745d ago

WHy compare a port to a version that was enhanced with a new engine? Shall we compare Super Mario Bros NES to the SNES version?

miyamoto2745d ago

because Wii U fans thought that the Wiik U can run Unreal Engine 4

Segata2745d ago

It can because UE4 can be scaled. Just it's not supported. Bloodstained is in UE4 and was running on Vita and Wii U. Only canceled since both systems are not selling.

Raider692745d ago

I would like to see hows the performance on Ps4.

Rivitur2745d ago

What the actual fuck is that thing on the right?

blawren42745d ago

A fantastic and underrated game on wii u with great gamepad usage.

hatsume-miku2745d ago

I agree! One of the best usage of gamepad! It's a pity that Arkham Origins doesn't support it the same way.

wonderfulmonkeyman2745d ago

Am I the only one that thinks both look fine?
