Imagining your avatar pic guy saying that was awesome.

t0mmyb0y4247d ago

Must be a kid @ AWBrawler lol

vortis4246d ago

ROFL....
You're like that guy who says "Uh, I'm not racist. I have black people for friends."

blumatt4246d ago (Edited 4246d ago )

Why is it racist that he thinks it's funny imagining him saying that. I hate that every time something is said in regard to a person of color, it's "racist."
Get off your soapbox. Hell, he (AWBrawler) didn't even get mad about it. lol

ANYWAY. This doesn't surprise me. WalMart seems to also give preferential treatment to the Xbox 360. The brick-and-mortar stores still have the advantage. I prefer using Amazon and online shopping but there are still a lot of consumers who prefer to purchase products at WalMart and the like.

DeadlyFire4246d ago (Edited 4246d ago )

@blumatt. Its amazing how easy it is to see someone that's racist on the internet. They instantly blame the other guy without question. Nothing new here.

As for the article. Amazon will sell it at some point. They are giving in to retail first for launch because of limited quantities. As the numbers go up so will the number of online retailers selling the WiiU. Just as other consoles have been sold this way. Its the cheapest way. I wouldn't doubt that Wal-Mart is trying to get deals going for them.

I meant that it was bad ass. I imagine you have a kind of deep voice right?

AWBrawler4246d ago

lol How did race get involved, and i type like i talk, so maybe you'll hear me say that on youtube.

SilentNegotiator4246d ago

Nintendo would have to have rocks in their heads to not distribute through one of the internet's top, if not THE top, distributors.

irepbtown4246d ago

Amazon.co.uk is selling the Wii U

Link to basic pack:

Link to Premium Pack:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/...

So I'm guessing this is US only?

JonahNL4247d ago

Oh my, this is totally going to prevent me from buying a Wii U, because I only purchase stuff at Amazon.

DragoonsScaleLegends4247d ago

So where do you get your food from? Amazon.com.

Dovahkiin4247d ago

And you can actually buy food from Amazon.

Sarcasm4246d ago

The thing preventing me from buying a Wii U is a Sony PlayStation 3 Super Slim edition

Hellsvacancy4246d ago

What? you should already have a PS3, the new slim is just a cheaper looking version of the old one

I aint buying a Wii-U or a new slim, ill save the money, spend it on pot, id rather waste my money with a smile on my face

Sarcasm4246d ago

That went over your head didn't it. lol

Raider694247d ago (Edited 4247d ago )

Its selling on all amazon stores but not on amazon-us.I wonder why.No they are not the world rulers like they think they are.Good for nintendo for not bending to them!

RememberThe3574247d ago

Are you serious? So Nintendo gives Wal-Mart preferential treatment and Amazon is just supposed to be cool with it?

Nintendo of America and Amazon are not not too far from each other (Nintendo being in Redmond and Amazon being South Lake Union). Maybe Nintendos dog pissed in Amazons yard? Nintendo pissing off such a large retailer isn't smart no matter how you look at it.

yesmynameissumo4247d ago

Walmart still has Basic consoles available for pre-order, but it's in a ridiculous bundle. Shame Amazon won't/can't sell them.

rainslacker4246d ago

Yeah if you hunted them down they had some links where you could just buy the console. I went to hunt them down for you all but they removed the option to buy them from those links.:*( Sorry I couldn't be more help

thats so crazy haha.

it will never disappear.

darksky3d ago

The more they try to stop it, the more publicity it gets. The fact is that Yuzu will forever live on torrent and other sites. Nintendo is fighting an uphill battle.

Inverno3d ago

Another 8,500 will take their place. Smh

PRIMORDUS3d ago

There is nothing stopping these people from working on Yuzu clones and sharing them on torrent sites. Nintendo or anyone else cannot do shit about torrents or usenet.

lucasnooker3d ago

lol Nintendo keep fighting this but it never ends. Why do they feel the need to persist? I guess they are in too deep now they have to

Super Mario 64 DS: Remakes Done Right

Super Mario 64 DS was offered as a launch title for the Nintendo DS, a remake of the classic platform game with a few original tricks.

Chard5d ago

Not with those D-pad controls

CDbiggen5d ago

Needs more appreciation. I never had an N64 so this was what I played. Sure the Yoshi hat mechanic at first is a slog but you unlock Mario and the others for real and then it takes off. Personally I never had an issue with the controls. Can't forget the mini games and the 4 player rumble over download play.

kevco335d ago

Indeed, as stated in the article there were tonnes of control options and very much a 'take whatever you like, leave the rest' attitude to most of the game's extras.

Zelda Replay: Majora's Mask

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Is Ocarina of Time as legendary as I remembered it? For the most part, yes. In spite of a handful of missteps — a few obtuse puzzles, some tedious backtracking, and a clunky stealth sequence — I don't believe the last 23 years have been unkind to it. Ocarina remains a brilliant example of the medium, a landmark game that shaped the future of its own franchise and 3D gaming in general. After more than two decades it retains its inventive dungeon design, challenging puzzles, dynamic combat, wistful storyline, unforgettable music, and empowering open-air freedom. I feel confident calling it one of the greatest games of the fifth generation, even if I'm no longer prepared to list it among the five best games ever made."

Pure unadulterated fun. They don't make them like this anymore...especially not the triple A industry.

FinalFantasyFanatic9d ago

Back when video rental was a thing, I rented out Majoria's Mask, I never finished it though. I did buy the 3DS version before the eshop shutdown, so maybe one day I'll finally play through the whole thing, it's amazing how well these games hold up though. I briefly played Ocarina of Time for a while and it was really fun.
