Nintendo's major supplier Mitsumi Electric has shut down due to a uprising of anti Japanese protests. The dispute between China and Japan has been about the control of the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea. China and Taiwan has claim ownership of these islands however Japan had brought three of these islands from a private Japanese owner.

Don't say crap like that (Pardon me but that really upsets me)

Ashunderfire864250d ago

The War of Asians!!!! Hope not though. Man if America gets involve you know its gonna be World war 3. A candidate like Mitt Romney will throw us in the war, if America goes brain dead and pick him for president. Heck what if Obama flip flap and send us to war? Oh the horror!!! Shoot I would be a draft dodger like President Clinton for crying out loud!!!

WiiUalpha4250d ago

Yeah I am sure the Obama way of throwing them money when they attack us will surely keep them away.... Really dumb comment..

N4G is about gaming news not political news. Also whatever site you are going to for political news has some really stupid views.

Pretty sure you'd have to be brain dead at this point to even consider backing the guy who took us from $1.75 a gallon gas to over $3.50. The guy who double the national dept and raked up more dept than all presidents before him combined. The guy who apologized to Egypt over them attacking us and gave them 1.5 billion in funding.

Cyb3r4250d ago (Edited 4250d ago )

Isnt Mitt Romney already a very rich man Im sure $3.50 a gallon for gas means nothing to him from his perspective.

WiiUalpha4250d ago

They all are rich dude. Not a single US president has been poor in the last 100 years or so.

If that is all you can come up with I feel sorry for you.

Also, he actually wants to cut gas prices. I dont agree with how but at least he wants to do something unlike Obama who isnt doing anything atm.

Skip over the national dept getting doubled and the 1.5billion to egypt. Focus on something meaningless.

Qrphe4250d ago

>"N4G is about gaming new not political news"
>proceeds to spew out political propaganda

Way to set an example man

rainslacker4250d ago

Wii...your comments about what the president has done are misguided at best.

The president has no control over gas prices, these are set by the oil companies. They're high right now because it's an election year, and people like you blame the president for the gas prices and it makes him look bad, in the meantime oil companies are raking in record profits. 1.75 4 years ago? I don't think so. Gas prices were around 2.15 during the 2008 election, not 4 months before they were around $3 a gallon.

The national debt and racking up more debt is a huge economics issue and to pin it all on him is ludicrous since it's something that's been 20 years in the making.

The apology you speak of came from a the US embassy in Cairo, through a tweet, and didn't represent the White Houses opinion on the matter. Do some research before you retread Romney's condemnation of it.

The aid you speak of given to egypt was between 1.8 and 2.1 billion a year between 2001-2008. Seems to me the president cut back on aid. The 1.5 you speak of was to help them in their democratic reform. America has always taken a stance of pro-democracy, and giving aid to countries that want to become democratic.

As to you personally, if you don't know what's going on and don't care to research your facts then go to Yahoo news comments section where you will find a warm welcome among other ignorant people.

Ashunderfire864249d ago (Edited 4249d ago )

Mitt Romney is no different either!!!! He has the potential to get us in another unnecessary war like Bush did back in 03, which could cost us billions of dollars. He even want to spend big on rebuilding the Navy(spending too much money). Mitt Romney is a greedy candidate that brags about buying a half a million dollar horse, brags about how he bought 5 Cadillacs for his wife, and he never want to show his tax records in public!!! This man could be the richest president since George Washington if elected, but he is for the Rich, and that means tax cuts for those greedy bastards!!!! This man Mitt Romney has no experience in office, so what makes him any better? Obama has Republicans in the house that won't even back him up!!! That's why it is also important to vote for the midterm elections to elect the right people to back Obama up, and then we can make a change. Many people don't understand that, so they don't know much about politics. You sir need to dig yourself a hole big enough to put your face in it.

herbs4249d ago

Wow people like you are so fucking stupid. Yah the economy is all Obamas fault he did it lets point fingers at him. Do some research, it is so brutally obvious that the 8 years under Bush/Cheney completely fucked America. If you don't think so your fucking retarded it's that simple. The Repiblican party is not the grand old party they once were all they want is for the people with all the money and power to have even more money and power that's it. I'm from Canada and I probably have a deeper understanding of American politics than 3/4 of the people from there, it's really terrible and sad :(

"Man if America gets involve you know its gonna be World war 3. A candidate like Mitt Romney will throw us in the war"

I'm pretty sure Obama would honor our alliance with Japan, and if he didn't would suffer incredible international backlash. If Japan and China went to war, the US would be involved.

shackdaddy4250d ago

Both Romney and Obama suck pretty equally in their own ways.

Also, the fact you say you'd dodge the draft speaks miles about your character. The last thing I would want to do in my life is fight in a war (I feel bad for even killing bugs!), but I would go if I needed to just like my dad, uncles, grandfathers, and my great grandfather did.

That's never gonna happen though. The last thing China wants to do is go to war with us.

Just my opinion anyway. This is gaming news though so all this stuff is really out of place...

DwightOwen4250d ago

We don't have a draft anymore. All branches of the U.S. military are voluntary enlistment.

shackdaddy4249d ago

Well, I was just replying to that comment...

But we still do have a draft just fyi. People are required by law to register for it when they turn 18. It's just not active and probably never will become active since we already have plenty of enlisted men and women in the military.

WiiUalpha4249d ago (Edited 4249d ago )

Men are required to register not women. Unless that has changed in the last 20 years only men sig up for selective service.

@Rainslacker, Anyone the whitehouse chooses to represent them speaks for them. Might want to educate yourself on that as well...

People have their opinions but the fact is that the White House can have an impact on gas prices. Which is why Romney wants to allow more drilling to lower prices. Another thing you guys are clueless on.

@Herbs, you seem to be the stupid one here. Obama increased federal aid(Food Stamps) not bush. Our AAA credit rating went down to -AA under Obama, not Bush. Our unemployment skyrocket under Obama not Bush.

Both candidates suck but its a choice between the lesser of two evils. I'd rather have a candidate who wants to fix the problems not run and hide and tihnk throwing money at them will make them go away.

Romney's recent blunders in terms of flip-flopping and social issues doesn't help. Not to mention he clearly doesn't have the vote for gay rights advocates.

SilentNegotiator4250d ago (Edited 4250d ago )

"he clearly doesn't have the vote for gay rights advocates"

Not that Obama deserves it much more. Obama said he supports gay marriage but made it clear he won't do anything about it (federally). I think he supports getting campaign contributions and votes from homosexuals, not letting gays marry. He certainly had no trouble putting the first part of the quote on his contribution site.

PopRocks3594250d ago (Edited 4250d ago )

@SilentNegotiator

Yeah well at least Obama will entertain the idea. I reckon gay citizens will take indifference over opposition.

Besides, he made it clear during his first presidential campaign that it wasn't his decision to make so much as it was the states'. The issue was not as large at the time as it is now either.

SilentNegotiator4249d ago (Edited 4249d ago )

No, he ran saying he was "against" gay marriage, because polls were slightly against gay marriage then and are slightly for now.

The gay community should have plucked him out a long time ago. Heck, all democrats should have plucked him out a long time ago, his views aren't really classic democrat, Mr. Dreams of His Father.

PopRocks3594249d ago

That's completely incorrect. I followed his campaign trail since before the primary. He never said that. He said he believed in civil unions but that he felt states should choose whether or not it should be legal.

thats so crazy haha.

it will never disappear.

darksky3d ago

The more they try to stop it, the more publicity it gets. The fact is that Yuzu will forever live on torrent and other sites. Nintendo is fighting an uphill battle.

Inverno3d ago

Another 8,500 will take their place. Smh

PRIMORDUS3d ago

There is nothing stopping these people from working on Yuzu clones and sharing them on torrent sites. Nintendo or anyone else cannot do shit about torrents or usenet.

lucasnooker3d ago

lol Nintendo keep fighting this but it never ends. Why do they feel the need to persist? I guess they are in too deep now they have to

Super Mario 64 DS: Remakes Done Right

Super Mario 64 DS was offered as a launch title for the Nintendo DS, a remake of the classic platform game with a few original tricks.

Chard5d ago

Not with those D-pad controls

CDbiggen5d ago

Needs more appreciation. I never had an N64 so this was what I played. Sure the Yoshi hat mechanic at first is a slog but you unlock Mario and the others for real and then it takes off. Personally I never had an issue with the controls. Can't forget the mini games and the 4 player rumble over download play.

kevco335d ago

Indeed, as stated in the article there were tonnes of control options and very much a 'take whatever you like, leave the rest' attitude to most of the game's extras.

Zelda Replay: Majora's Mask

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Is Ocarina of Time as legendary as I remembered it? For the most part, yes. In spite of a handful of missteps — a few obtuse puzzles, some tedious backtracking, and a clunky stealth sequence — I don't believe the last 23 years have been unkind to it. Ocarina remains a brilliant example of the medium, a landmark game that shaped the future of its own franchise and 3D gaming in general. After more than two decades it retains its inventive dungeon design, challenging puzzles, dynamic combat, wistful storyline, unforgettable music, and empowering open-air freedom. I feel confident calling it one of the greatest games of the fifth generation, even if I'm no longer prepared to list it among the five best games ever made."

Pure unadulterated fun. They don't make them like this anymore...especially not the triple A industry.

FinalFantasyFanatic9d ago

Back when video rental was a thing, I rented out Majoria's Mask, I never finished it though. I did buy the 3DS version before the eshop shutdown, so maybe one day I'll finally play through the whole thing, it's amazing how well these games hold up though. I briefly played Ocarina of Time for a while and it was really fun.
