4 Upcoming Gaming Sequels That Make Us Mad

WC writes: Every so often a game comes around that really changes the playing field. It’s different. It’s good. It’s innovative and creative. It’s not a piece of crap like the five games I’m about to talk about.

These are the games that make you want to disavow an entire developer, sell your computer, and use the money to move to an Amish community. These are the games that should never get made, because they betray they very ideas they insist they stand for by pissing all over the memory of their predecessors. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, these are games that should piss you off. It’s your duty to hate them, and it’s my duty to point out why. Because in a few short months, the developers, distributors, and everyone in between are going to be trying to cram these games down your throat and be expecting you to say, “please, sir may I have some more.”

But, you don’t have to do that. You can take the fight to the enemy by actually recognizing these pieces of crap for exactly what they are, pieces of crap.

Because it gets all the attention! XD
Worms is overrated XD :P

kidding, of course

Worms is fun mayhem. Worms has never HAD a story (to my knowledge, if there was a release with one then I apologize) but I don't see how one could be put in.

"Worms: Revolution is a blemish on gaming as a whole, as it represents the worst possible thing that can go wrong with any industry or art form: apathy leading to a lack of creativity." Really now?

ALSO: oh look it's one of those sites!...with a page for...every...freaking...one of them.

Because of their stupid high pitched voices.

I can't play the game simply because of that.

It gets annoying after maybe 2-3 turns within the first game.

We get it , they are small....no fix it

prototypeknuckles4263d ago

never played a worms game so i cant speak for that but everything else i cant help but agree

dorron4263d ago

It's weird not to see DmC in that list...

resident evil 6 doesn't make me mad, i'm mostly excited for it. i'm one of those people that actually have fun while playing resident evil 4 and 5, and can't wait for re6 to come out. people are hating the game just because re5 "didn't have horror". if you don't like the game don't read AND comment on most of the articles(i'm talking to you "MikeCosgrove") you dislike the game but you still find intrest in it to read the articles and make trolling comments telling people not to buy this game and i hate you so much i went ahead and pre ordered the resident evil 6 anthology version cuz i support capcom and i love the direction resident evil is going and i'm pretty sure i will be getting alot of dislikes cuz most of you on this site want the old school resident evil, well if you liked the old school resident evil so much you shouldn't have bought and xbox 360 or ps3 because their such an advanced system and game developers wanted to use the systems full potential and not just make a game that you have to run around the same place a hundred times to solve some ridiculous puzzle, their making games with more action because it looks and plays amazing. so it wasn't capcom's or and developers fault it was the birth of the new generation of gamer's that's why the old style of resident evil is gone but this stlye of resident evil has been around since 2005 and you guys are sill complaining about it.

I don't care for the hate on Resident Evil 6 I'm still buying it as I enjoy the co-op.

Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - A Decade in the Shadows

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell has been out of action for a decade, so it's time to look back at 2013's Splinter Cell: Blacklist.

Sam Fisher is evidently the most skilled stealth operative because no-one has seen him in his own game for years

kevco33248d ago

10 years, in fact. He must be, like, 60 by now?

phoenixwing248d ago (Edited 248d ago )

why make an inspired game that takes effort when you can half ass it with multiplayer gaas games and filler filled assassins creed games?

That question up there is the reason you don't see splinter cell games

zarbor248d ago

Yup, another example that Ubisoft has no idea what they are doing.

MIDGETonSTILTS17248d ago

The entire mark and execute system belonged in another game.

It’s cool, but the polar opposite to how Sam Fisher initially handled.

The original trilogy made shooting very, very difficult, yet a viable option, which ultimately motivates stealth.

The mark/execute system makes shooting stupid easy, to the point of why would you even bother trying stealth as an alternative?

FYouDad247d ago

Because Ghost is the method fans of the series actually prefer? IMark and execute is never forced upon the player you liiterally never have to bother using it even once throughout Blacklist.

Tody_ZA248d ago

The sad part is that I actually really enjoyed the last game, Blacklist. It may have lacked the iconic voice but the gameplay was excellent, and blended stealth, action and a mix really great compared to most games, where none of the three options felt like the wrong way to play. I really hope they either produce a remake of the original game or a proper sequel.

Isn't UBI Soft remaking splinter cell.
