Borderlands 2 Review (PlanetPSX)

From the PlanetPlayStation.com featured review:

"After over 140+ hours of counted gameplay from Borderlands 1, I was ready to jump back into the world of Pandora and kick some butt. Borderlands 1 didn’t end with much of a cliffhanger, even after all the downloadable content, so what was Gearbox to do with Borderlands 2? Throughout Borderlands 2 I noticed there wasn’t much of a change in the gameplay, but it was more of a change in the enemies, guns, and surroundings. Plot wise, Borderlands 2 is a direct sequal with a story that picks up right after the first."

Really want to throw GoTY at this game but I want to wait till the end of the year just to make sure....oh what the hell! *throws GoTY sticker on Borderlands 2!* :D

This game and Torchlight 2 (right now) are the only games I have or had planned on buying (nothing else of high interest at this time) of course I'm trying not to give into "the hottest thing/trend"...been making sure my money is well worth it (after Diablo 3 :( )

I haven't beaten the game yet but this or Torchlight 2 have my vote :) [for obvious reasons]

Ya ive been spending too much money on games also. Just got this this and buying LBP Vita and thats it for me for a while.

Yeah understand I beat it story wise but I just throw myself back at it. I'm also mainly playing TL2 and BL2 but then RE6 comes in. Though I more than likely won't invest as much time as I did in both titles. :p

Try FTL: Faster Than Light also. Torchlight 2 is amazing... it's what Diablo 3 should have been. Really really sad.

The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series

Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground

Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3

And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2

I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.

No one liked the Batmobile in Arkham Knight. Top 10?

toxic-inferno466d ago

I don't know... It was a strange addition to the game, and the parts of the game where you had to fight in it were tedious. But driving it around Gotham felt brilliant.
