NowGamer: Codemaster's Grid 2 isn't too worried about the next-gen consoles when the Xbox 360 and PS3 are still more than capable.
The F1 24 announcement seems imminent, as the Champions Edition cover and details have surfaced in F1 23's game files after the latest patch.
To Sony, and so many other companies in this industry, the short-term satisfaction and happiness of their shareholders means so much more to them than their employees, their products, and their customers.
IGN writes: "Veteran UK developer Codemasters has suffered a round of layoffs following the launch of racing games F1 23 and EA Sports WRC.
Codemasters owner EA confirmed the redundancies in a statement issued to IGN, although failed to disclose the number of staff affected."
Two development studios will now operate as one working on the future of Need For Speed
Then where are the cockpits ffs.
Its a shame they dont have the cockpit view too cause I still think it was the best this gen. It was as visceral as the handling was...still gonna give it a shot though.
Considering the amount of games they've made this gen with the EGO engine, they really should have it running at 60fps on console by now!!
If only their rewind gimmick worked in real life so the Codies could go back to the days they made proper racegames. Lightning, carhandling, damage and AI, it was all there in TOCA/DTM Racedriver 3. Pure racethrills, not this 100mph handbreak Hollywood BS. Back in those days as a racefan you would simply laugh your pants off if somebody came up with GT's little train of cars going sterile around the track, DTM was where the true racing was done. Now it's the other way around, at least for me it is.
What they're failing to mention is they had problems getting hold of as many car liscenses as the previous one due to them not being able to afford it.
