First party games and games with exclusive DLC use different review methods then those that are used for 3rd parties like EA. I am pretty sure Fable 2 is good but Fallout 3 is just over hyped garbage. I am calling it here first that the first batch of Fallout 3 discs will have a game breaking bug that will brick systems and will probably never get patched. Bethesda has a track record to uphold and I don't see them wanting to change that.
This is my new favorite Silent Hill, and I am confident in Double Helix as the new Silent Hill development team. This is a good first step into next gen, and I people buy it so the series can continue.
Yet again morons hinder progression. I think there needs to be aptitude tests for internet users that way I don't have to deal with all these @ssholes who don't have anything worth while to say.

This article is full of debatable opinion and last I checked those don't pass for advantages. The only advantage, that I can see, the 360 has over the PS3 is hardware scaling.
If you want an open world play Oblivion and quit complaining. The linear aspect of the game is part of the Silent Hill experience. I won't go to much into it as to not spoil anything, but this is, quite frankly, my new favorite Silent Hill.

That PS3 "baby commercial" was a nod to 2001: A Space Odyssey and I think that the commercial makes sense for the demographic it was targeted at.
This commercial doesn't make sense to me, nor does it make sense to switch your consoles image mid life cycle. This gamble could potentially backfire causing more harm then good. For example, the Wii is now getting some backlash for games like Madworld for going against the "family-friendly" character of the Wii.
I have felt this way for a while now especially with this gen. Once you get over the graphics we are merely playing PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube games all over again. The sad thing is that most truly innovative titles, while critically acclaimed, have very poor sales. The video game industry needs a rebirth of sorts or else I can see this article coming to fruition.

I don't like when some random website tells me what games I should be playing. I let my Magic 8 Ball make all my important decisions and right now "my sources say no" for Fallout 3. I think it is a societal thing. Most Western gamers lean more towards freedom and competition. Most Eastern gamers lean more towards purpose and community. With that being said, I think the Japanese games market has over saturated itself and ceased to shock and awe people. Once things start becoming redundant they stop being fun. The West came in and reinvigorated the market, but I see the West succumbing to the same fate as the East within a year or two.

I agree. Proximity chat is an awesome feature and if anything I feel that they should raise the volume slightly. It makes the games more strategic in the sense that you have to be careful of what you say and how you say it. When you speak you are liable to give away positions in more ways than one, and on the flip side it makes the game much more intense when you are the last man alive with nothing to go on but the voices of the opposing team.
