Sega says projectile spamming is for scrubs.
Yes.
All I want is custom soundtracks for all games and cross game chat. When they become available for PSN+ then I will pay for it, until then it doesn't interest me.
What's happening is Valve's mod community is finally wising up and has stopped giving them original ideas to steal. So now Valve has to fend for themselves in the idea department and it turns out that they can't.
The .hack series with an online component similar to Demon's Souls.
Because their handlers aren't making any money off of them.
I think your trying a little too hard.
The Guardian Legend, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated NES games of all time.
Maybe I'm daft, but I personally don't see what "pushing the limit" in terms of processing and graphics has to do with ecology.
It's not my fault I wrecked your car, you shouldn't have let me drive it.

Hunter the Reckoning was the "inspiration" for L4D. Hunter the Reckoning was "inspired by" Gauntlet. Hunter the Reckoning was made by High Voltage Studios. The Grinder is made by High Voltage Studios. Dead Nation is "inspired" by Hunter The Reckoning.
Before you go off trying to defend which game you all think is best, give credit where credit is due. All these games are variations of Gauntlet, and all these genre types are variations of Hunter ...
When I see "Crysis still has better graphics than UC2", all I see is "with this forum post my $1500 PC upgrade is now validated".
Just out of curiosity, by your logic, is it appropriate for a 12 your old and a 30 year old to be in a sexual relationship?
Well wasn't Wii Punchout just graphically fluffed? I can still play the same game on my NES. Oh, my mistake, he used the word "fun" and not "profit".
Western RPGs are a microcosm of Western economics. Choice is meant to create, in the player, the illusion of freedom.
It just lets you know what the people who run things really care about. I feel community service would suffice. 10 years in prison is overkill.
I agree completely. I believe they will began systematically destroying the industry under the need to "subsidize" the rising production costs. That will be the excuse anyways. Games will be gutted and then sold as DLC later on, advertisements will be littered everywhere, and sequels will run rampant. Many of these examples have been popping up recently and I believe that they will be a whole lot worse in the future.
I hate that the industry milks games like there is no tomorrow, but I don't blame them. I blame the morons, excuse me "gamers", that keep buying the same games over and over again, and then cry that there is no innovation.
I have a better idea. How about Destructoid ask High Voltage about the HUGE influence Hunter the Reckoning had on Left 4 Dead. If you are going to start with first things first, I think that should have been the proper route to take.
Rationalization is endemic to contemporary society.
