Well said Bladestar. I'm glad someone else gets it.
Edit- This is a reply to Bladestar's post. I guess I didn't hit reply.
The same failed policies that Bush implored, but obviously you knew that.
I understand what he is saying, but I am not arguing about that. I am arguing about what he is doing. Why doesn't he just use television as an example instead? I guess I wouldn't bite the hand that feeds me either.
Video games have nothing to do with bad parenting, bad parents do. I could debate politics with you if you wish, but that is not the issue.
Every politician needs a scapegoat for their failed policies. It would seem that Obama has chosen his.
The "Hardcore vs "Casual" argument is redundant. One man's junk is another man's treasure.
What I want to know is, where is the innovation?
Ninetndo, for me, is getting stale. They need someone like Suda 51 to come in and revitalize their franchises for a more mature audience. Imagine Zelda with serious perspective, it would be awesome. I can only save a princess so many times before I become to loathe her. Miyamoto is holding these franchises back by limiting the story elements.
Could not have said it better myself.
The Silent Hill series and Ninja Gaiden on the NES. Two of my personal favorites.
Based on Capcom's current track record, I will reserve judgment till the final product. I hope for the best but I expect the worst.
I'm sorry your a moron. Let me correct your reply.
Hello my name is Fantasy Star, and I am a scrub. Auto-aim is necessary because I lack the skill to aim accurately. I like popular games because they cater to the masses, like me, who really like getting ribbons just for participating. It makes us feel like winners on the inside and IT SELLS MORE GAMES of course.
Replacing 90's tech in 2009, priceless. Now just remove auto-aim from multi-player and I might just buy this game.
G4, why don't you let someone else, who understands the definition of innovation, have the soapbox.
Killzone 2 was meant to end the graphics debate. It succeeded, as you can tell by the flood of articles like this. It's not about graphics it's about sales. HAHA. Losers.
I couldn't agree more.
This is a reply to Mirror's comment. Guess I didn't hit the right button. HAHA.
Sega has certainly become one of my favorite publishers/developers this generation. In a sea of mediocrity I'm glad SEGA is returning to the glory days. Hopefully Capcom will look and learn.
I only hope that the aiming reticle has an option to be disabled. I am increasingly tired of Wii shooters having the reticle taking up half the screen and not having an option that would allow them to be disabled. It is counterintuitive. I am perfectly capable of knowing where I am pointing because I am in fact pointing where it is I know I want to be pointing. Redundant isn't it.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only cynic here.
If, presumably, graphics don't matter to the "It's about game play" Wii audience, what then is the justification for a graphical update to a NES game?
No More Heroes is fine the way it is. I'm getting pretty tired of the "every game should have multi-player crowd".
