Couldn't agree more. Guitar Hero anyone?

So they just updated the game with Wii graphics, and made the remote/nunchuk controllers into giant A and B buttons. Nintendo just continues to innovate. Mario Paint me impressed.

Art is subjective so this argument is already moot. I have a healthy game library spanning from the NES to present day, including many different consoles. Whenever I get the urge, I play older games no problem; some of these games still amaze me to this day. That being said, I bought an HD console for HD games. You can have good gameplay and good graphics or good graphics and good art direction, it does'nt have to be one or the other. Seems to me that most of the arguments are just excus...

I don't think the mod support will end. Who will fix all the broken games PC developers always release, or where will they get their ideas from. At least if they do stop mods then Bethesda can stop making broken games and Valve can come up with their own ideas.

Anyone know if trophies are coming with the DLC?

They also gave a 9 to Folklore, which, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated RPGs this generation.

I agree. IGN is usually well rounded in their views. I haven't seen them slant to far in either direction.

I heard IW got a call from the 90's. They said they wanted their A.I. back.

D@mn people are dumb. No one is forcing you to play the game. If you don't like the controls don't play it. For everyone that doesn't like the controls their is that much more that do. Keep complaining if it makes you feel better even though no one gives a d@mn what you whiners think.

Wow, Adam never ceases to amaze me. I mean just when I think his pretentious teenage ego can't get an bigger, it does. Seriously if you believers want proof that whatever god you believe in doesn't exist, just look at this sh!t stain and there is your proof. Now I'm going to go pray in hopes that Yellowstone erupts.

That is seriously horrible logic. I bet when people invite you over to their house they have to cover the wall sockets just so you won't shock yourself.

Haha at disagree, you must be a creationist.

Killzone 2 controls make for an excellent example of natural selection. If you can't adapt, you perish. Or in the case of videogames, if you can't adapt, you complain.

Who gives a f%ck one way or another. Violence exists if you don't want you children exposed to it don't have children. If you do have children find some videos of children being blown up, because it happens on a day to day basis, and watch them with your children. Then you can explain to them why you wanted them to be subjected to this reality, and then you can tell them it is because you love them. Life is real, deal with it.

Nope. I like it a lot as well. I like tactical shooters more than I do run and gun games. I think most games of this nature, like Warhawk and Socom, age extremely well and will be played longer than most other online games.

I rather pay 5 dollars for a full game than 4 dollars for some costumes, looks at SF4. Noby Noby Boy is well worth the price of admission and should easily score an 8 for being innovative and different.

Everything you purchase is an investment. If your happy paying those prices for your games more power to you. I am simply saying that in reality most downloadable games on Steam are over priced in relation to their production costs. I was merely using Left 4 Dead as an example of how the Steam business model works. It is meant to make the consumer feel like they are getting a good deal when in reality they are still paying a lot more for something that should be a lot less.

I understand what you are saying, but what you are arguing is intrinsic value. I am talking about monetary value. Most family heirlooms aren't worth much monetarily but the objects gain intrinsic value based on the passing of generation to generation over time. Worth in this sense is based on individual opinion. As far as what it cost to make Left 4 Dead and within the values set by the games market, Left 4 Dead is grossly overpriced in relation to its monetary value. Mods, in this insta...

Steam uses the same psychology as the oil industry. They constantly overprice gas that should be sold for less, and then when gas drops in price everyone flocks to put gas even though it is still overpriced, only cheaper. The benefit of the internet is price fluctuation which is easier to do than it would be in retail outlets. Valve tricks the consumer with "Deals". Left 4 Dead is not worth 40 dollars. It may be fun as hell but it is not a 40 dollar game. They reduce the price...

I have no love for any developer. They all get complacent at some point and they are only as good as their last game. As far as valve goes, and most pc developers in general, they rely too heavily on the mod community to fix their broken games.
