No way Metal Gear game is exclusive to the Xbox 360.

Who said anything about best looking? You can't be a race sim without real time damage that affects how you race, how your car performs and how you approach a track. Real time damage is overdue and better be in GT5 on the day of release.

Gotta admit, GT5 needs real time damage. Really, the competition may finally have gained a step.

Exactly, I think everyone expected the game in March 2010. I do think Sony has been coy hoping the anticipation of the game this year would move some consoles.

How is that huge? The betas for Modern Warfare and World at War were exclusive to PC/XBox 360. No great loss.

I wont be surprise if much of Sony's announcements focuses on the PSP Go. It's the perfect time for those announcements

I agree with the first part. They certainly spent a lot of money on the board and it's technology. At $120, I don't even think they can recoup those cost even if the game is multiplatform. I think a lot of people are interested in the game and the peripheral. I am. I really want to see what can be done with the board and how well the controls translate.

I'm sure it's nothing but Activision is having it's own showcase so why is the game being featured at Microsoft's press event? It just doesn't sound right. Really, Geoff Keighley needs to give twitter a rest. He's becoming a pain in the balls getting us anxious for no reason.

Isn't Activision's press conference also today? Why would Modern Warfare 2 be part of Microsoft's show? You know, I beginning to hate f**king twitter. I don't have a good feeling about this at all!

Still makes little sense. If you're going to introduce a new SKU make sure you don't alienate the current fan base. That's like releasing a PS3 without blu ray, new adopters wouldn't be able to play the older titles. This has been my biggest problem with Sony of late; too many SKUs. Fans don't know what's current and what current hardware offers and how it differs from older SKUs. This was not necessary and wont stop piracy which is what they're hoping.

Since titles will be distributed digitally, are older titles going to be made available for digital release and would I have to repurchase my old PSP games if I choose to buy the PSP Go? Really, they just redesigned the PSP. I just bought a new one. This makes no sense. I really believe now the PS3 Slim is real.

Could someone please explain to me why this game is at Microsoft's booth and not Ubisoft's? Andy McNamara from GameInformer said that Microsoft wasn't letting anyone see the game but Microsoft isn't the publisher as far we know. He also said prior that Microsoft was responsible for the game's overhaul since they didn't like the new direction. What does Microsoft have to do with this game!?

Mighty impressive. I'm a bit jealous.

When I read the comments I realise how young most posters are and how pathetic the console war has become. Especially when an article that has nothing to do with either console continues a console argument.

Microsoft is going to do more to draw non-gamers to it's console. Many don't even know what Hulu is but the ability to watch television shows and movies when you want to in an integrated space will be a huge draw. Many are always quick to mention the PS3's web browser but it's capabilities are limited and for someone who isn't tech savvy, could be frustrating. Simplicity is a huge draw. Most are discouraged by the slightest of efforts.

I can't believe this posting was note worthy. SMH!

Gears of War 3 will be released in the fall of 2010. A franchise that has sold 11 million units on one console and is this generation's most successful new IP isn't going multiplatform. An internal team was setup recently at Microsoft Gaming Studios to manage the Gears of War IP and create new content in the Gears of War universe. There were a number of job postings on Gamasutra.

While the preview is premature as the game hasn't been announced for the PS3, I have all the confidence in the world the game IS coming to the PS3.

You missed my point entirely. My point was and still is, you can't tell someone what value is. It's subjective. At the time, the consumer's needs and circumstances were very different. The good thing about the XBox 360 for an average consumer is that you can add what you need at your discretion. You don't need wifi, you don't have to pay for it. You have no intention of playing multiplayer games online, you don't have to pay for it. You have no interest in arcade games and downloadable conten...
