Hmmmm
I mostly play for the batshit crazy things that happen during matches. Also I'm going to play SO MUCH NOSHAHR CANALS.
I have 2 questions about the mode, however:
Can you earn any xp in this game mode?(probably not)
Do you need to pay extra to host your own lobbies, like in BF3?
120hz mode is a great additions, but I thought VRR was mostly only effective for 90-120. Wouldn't you feel dips at frame rates below that? I really have no idea, but I thought that's what I've heard from past DF videos?
Lol come on dude. Microsoft can take credit for Recore, Ori, Everwild, and Sea of Thieves, but I don't think you can use games from acquisitions from the past 2-3 years to illustrate your point. Microsoft had no hand in determining those.
This game isn't out yet??
I would like to hear Shuhei Yoshida address some of the shortcoming. He's such an honest and nice guy, and heads up the indie initiative at PS. Hopefully PS can change some of their archaic ways, as having happy developers is key to having great games on your platform.
I think that award would go to Ghost or WWII. If we're talking about mainline games post MW (2007).
The zombies in Black Ops 4 was great, and Blackout, while nowadays is probably not the best, was awesome during it's height.
@Terry_B Although Grand Theft Auto V sales dwarf those of individual COD games. The Call of duty series as a whole has sold 400 million copies, while it has been reported that GTA as a series has sold about 350 million. Staggering numbers for both, certainly.
I played Modern Warfare Remastered quite a bit. Would have done the same with MW2 Remaster if it had included multiplayer.
I already own Black Ops 4, and honestly the zombies is some of my favorite in the series. If nothing else, that's a great time, especially playing with friends.
All major game companies need to take a year or 2 break from announcing anything new, then we'll be back on track where they can reveal games 6-12 months ahead of time. Trust me, there's enough announcements from titles that ARE almost ready, to fill the void.
Damn, they're really going all out on their GWG lineups lately! /s
@alb1899 Wow, that's a pretty rude comment holy shit.
I kind of assumed that they were extending the invite to playstation users in general, as that's what happened with the first invites. If it's just PS5 owners, then yes, I think they should expand it to PS4 users.
@D3TH They must have patched that by the time I got that far because I have a PS3 save with 130 hours on it. But that was probably 1-2 years post launch.
Hypothetically, I'd rather they go to consumers who can sell them to friends instead of to scalpers. That's what I'm doing, and I know 3 more people who want them, so keep em coming.
Doesn't xcloud only work with GamePass games? Or is it for ALL games? I thought it was the former but could be wrong.
I'm just wary of Microsoft creating a trend toward an oligopoly with the waves they are creating in the industry.
I don't care much about Starfield, or really any of the Bethesda game studios games. "Skyrim in space" doesn't really sound like something new and exciting. I AM bummed that future ID, MachineGames, and Arkane games will be exclusive, which is why I'm building a PC soon....if I can ever get my hands on a 3070.
This write-up encapsulates the thoughts I've had as well. I love both Uncharted 4 and Last of us 2, but Uncharted 2 and Last of us are both better games for many of the reasons stated. Uncharted 4 brings a realistic and serious tone to the series that doesn't quite fit, and the lack of mystical elements from the first 3 games leaves it lacking (as well as the set piece moments mentioned in the article). I think a more stylized world design would have helped. I'm still curious abou...
Astro's Playroom was a PERFECT introduction to the PS5. I absolutely would support more entries in the series.
It's $20 at Best Buy right now.
Well, glad I kept this in my backlog.
