I didn' t care for Crysis 2 (only one I've played in the series,), but graphics were great.
Seems like a majority of folks are bashing RYSE's gameplay, but I have to admit, the game's graphics are impressive for a launch title. I'm waiting for reviews and also have a friend purchasing it too.
Politicians are always looking for a way to make a statement, to get their names out, to earn some sort of prominence to climb higher in the government.
I'd say 90% of them piggyback bills they don't believe in.
People kill people. The dark side of human nature will not change, but scapegoating one facet of our culture is ignorant. These people would have you believe that by ridding the world of violent videogames they in turn would eliminate al...
Even my fondest memories of xbox ownership have been soured by all the negativity from egotistical fanboyism and MS's constant own foot-shooting/ tongue biting.
When I think of xbox original, I think of battling through Halo/ Halo 2 campaign splitscreen with a buddy, sneaking around and breaking necks as Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell, and having my mind blown by the 1st western rpg (SWKOTOR) I ever played.
Flash forward to 360, those experiences carried ov...
I was all about Xbox One's Family Share Plan and figured I could just upgrade my internet and everything would work hunk dory. Nope. Time Warner is the best internet solution (aside from google fiber and we won't get that in our lifetime here) and I'm one mile away from a service location and they won't run cable to me. I have a brother who shuts off his cable in the summer, (never home, all his kids are in to some sport or activity) and does not have internet-just uses dat...
I get mixed feelings from all the negativity from fanboy zealots, but why did I preorder an XB1 after an underwhelming e3? XB1 has the established franchises that I love to play. Plain and simple.
I think the blind hope surrounding some kinda "secret sauce" in the xb1 is losing steam.
I'm going to accept it for what it will be. A great gaming console that has cool extra features, Kinect titles that'll be fun to play at parties, an...
I used Pespi/ Coke comparison before using Sony as Pepsi (sweeter and always "on sale") Microsoft as Coke.
Hey, we even disagree on which one is represented by respective colas.
Maybe xbox one is Mountain Dew, with all the Game Fuel marketed by them.
Another thing- GT is not so heads and shoulders over Forza so stop declaring your opinion as a fact.
GT started whole race sim for consoles. It's importance cannot be overstated, but is it really better than Forza?
GT has more cars and variations of races(go carts, rally racing, etc). Forza has cockpit views for all their cars( GT only has views for certain cars), Forza has more customization( paint job and tuning).
There's more f...
Capcom is due to release a good game. SF 4 (and all it's incarnations were fine) is about the only good game they released this generation.
Lost Planet series? Sucks! Resident Evil 5&6? Sucks! Dead Rising and sequel? Sucks!
Capcom has been irrelevant this cycle unless you like lousy games.
You can't until both games are finished. I don't believe either game has shown gameplay even.
I still don't even know what type of game Quantum Break is, but it is being made by Remedy(Max Payne, Alan Wake). They are pretty reputable.
Is the Order done by Ready at Dawn? Looks intriguing regardless.
From these screenshots, Deep Down is better looking, but not by a wide margin.
Also, Ryse is a launch game. I don't think Deep Down is. Deep Down may benefit from more development time in all honesty.
Ryse may have started development on 360, but has went through some radical changes (Kinect only, first person camera) and is being hurried for Xbox One this November versus a game that very little is known and may still be a year away from release.
No way. They'll show something. It's TGS. It's their home turf. Don't believe they'll coast of vita tv and Yakuza.
Gamers (especially Sony fanboys) have been provided with enough ammunition by Microsoft's past mistakes.(rrod, less quality exclusives, imposed initial drm/always online)
If MS secretly had more powerful system, detractors pull up the laundry list of other reasons ($100 less/ forced Kinect, etc.). You just can't win with them, but it's not our job to.
Some will never consider buying an xb1, some will eventually buy one. A friend asked me one day...
With all the negativity around the initial drm debacle, don't think they'd do it.
Do you think they could make it optional?
Forza 5 and Drive Club will inevitably be compared, both being racing launch titles.
I'll let the critics and myself make the correct assessment when they release.
I certainly hope so. I preordered this game and have owned everyone of them.
Was worried it wouldn't be a full-fledged Forza game. If that would have been the case they should have done PGR sequel.
Forza is great, but I still miss PGR for it's more arcadey, style based racing. Better yet, a new Burnout with a crash mode. Don't know what Criterion is thinking.
The thing is-the xbox one is not a bag of poo despite your irrational analogy. It's a gaming console- not just a cable box, not just a bluray player. It will have awesome games. Yes. Will they be better than Sony's games? "Enter opinion here". Doesn't matter.
Pepsi is cheaper than Coke generally, it's sweeter too. I'll buy the Coca Cola every time, not because it's "better", only because I like it more.

I just wish they'd announce it sooner than later. Was expecting GTA V to send out current gen with a bang.
I was under the impression Rockstar had worked a miracle and made their best game on current gen. Not an easy feat considering GTA 4, Red Dead, LA Noire, and Max Payne 3 were all very good.
I hate when games get ported over to next gen. I want NEW games. The fact that it can be done on current gen, makes me doubt it is a next gen game. Would bee...
Sackboy, Crash Bandicoot, (Needs to return, why haven't they already), Rachet & Clank, or Jak & Daxter would be fine and are quality franchises that could be potential. Uh, Knack maybe.
Xbox doesn't really have anything except Master Chief.
Ah, good one!
I think my biggest worry was after Killer Instinct, (which I believe is a pretty fair system for purchasing content, but wish more characters would be available)I was expecting a "pay to play" situation for more cars. They really haven't announced much on the vehicles or tracks. With it being so close to launch, that's worrisome to me.
I agree with the article. I just don't understand how ill prepared they are with this launch.
Mattrick had been dragging down the console for years. His departure (as well as Ballmer) was necessary. I just wish somebody with a grain of intergrity or charisma would step up and right the ship.
There still is some time. I'd launched next year. First, I'd beef up the hardware, just to outdo Sony on that front. One less point of contention. Ren...
