Would love to have another PGR title, though. I did like Horizon a lot on a side note.
I love the Forza series and I'm hopeful that this entry will feel fresh and rejuvenate it. Forza 4, while the best entry, seemed a little stale. It had all all the mainstays of the series, but did little else in innovations. No night driving till Horizon was released. Haven't seen weather in a racer (me, personally- sure GT 5 had it, raced a stingray in the snow on a rally race- stupid, right?) for 360 since Project Gotham 4. Killer Instinct is on the radar. Would really like to buy two arcade sticks, but hell of an investment. You'd really have to love fighting games and I tire of them quick. Never wast good at them and yet, KI looks good. Don't know if nostalgia creeps in reminding me if a time of crowded arcades or snes/64 edition .
Almost a month away from launch and still seems unfinished. I may go with DR3 as my 2nd game (Forza 5 seems like a no-brainer).
I'll take his word til the xb1 melts. PR spinning aside, MS probably doesn't want to risk another hardware disaster akin to rrod. They can't afford to lose more consumers. I think xb1 will be plenty reliable, but we'll see.
4K gaming seems like a pipedream on both consoles. OLED sets are still $10,000. 2K/4K are like double. I picked up a 2012 plasma for less than $2000 with a 3 year warranty and may buy a smaller led around holidays.
Don't see 4K sets being even in the ballpark of "affordable" for another 2 year's, that's why I bought a newer set earlier this year. Hell, OLED sets seem a bit pricey still.
I don't think either of the consoles are capable of games running in 4K. We'll see.
Christmas is so gonna kill my wallet. Nephews love videogames, trying to find some new titles for them. Figure I might still have enough dough to get at least 2 games (already have Forza 5 preordered- waiting for reviews on other titles). Hoping the extra hours of work will pay off for the holiday rush.

I worry the architecture is unnecessarily too complex to develop for. Maybe time with finalized dev kits and tools will help aid the process. MS talks about balance, developers talk about PS4 ease of use.

I just saying that they shouldn't expect tolerance everywhere they go. They knew about the consequences, they chose to live their lives they wanted to. Tough, brave decision.
I feel bad for the transgender getting feelings hurt, but this is something they will ultimately battle throughout their lives. Doesn't make it right, but what do they expect? To be accepted by everyone with open arms? And comedians are dicks.
Man and woman should be together. It's nature. Men can't reproduce with men, women can't reproduce with women. All the binary pyschobabble will not change that.
Even if cloud computing does exist, the infrastructure isn't there for a large contingency of customers.
I'd hate to be a retailer and have to explain this stuff to consumers. "You need an online connection to update your system on day one, your games will be gimped if you do not have internet as it is heavily utilized to give you the experience necessary to play your games as intended."

Prefer 360 pad over DS3, but DS4 "looks" more comfortable than the xb1 pad. Hands-on will be determining factor however. Gimmicks/ features are somewhat meaningless compared to button responsiveness, analog stick/ d-pad accuracy.
DS4 has sixaxis, which imho, has never been used meaningfully. Touchpad has potential. Bluetooth is great- no batteries to buy.

I would be on board (digital download only)if internet service would catch up in my area. A Time Warner service area is only 1 mile away and they won't run cable to my home. Satellite is the only solution and it sucks for internet.
I loved Horizon and you can almost bet there is another one in the pipeline for the Xbox One!
I wonder what the next locale will be? Colorado was awesome. The game needs more tunes too. Soundtrack(maybe it's me, but GTA V's soundtrack seems limited too) gets old quick.
