Honestly, I feel what would be "next gen" with open world games is not MOAR BIGGURER worlds but worlds that fully conform to the decisions and activities of the player. You take a game like Skyrim for example, which is a wonderful achievement on PS3/360 hardware... as big and beautiful and full of things to do as the game is, the world actually changes very little based on what you do. Socially within the game nothing really changes.
I think that is the next step....
No, it's the Illuminati!!
That's a long ass rental period then.
*insert marketing PR lines that cannot be questioned*
Wrong. Xbox One reserves a full 3 GB of that RAM just for the OS functions.... it doesn't lay dormant for games to use while the system isn't using it; no game will ever tap into it. The remaining 5 GB's are 100% for games to use. DDR3 is commonly used for CPU functions because it handles small amounts of data by design, while GDDR5 is only used in very good graphics cards primarily because it excels at handling large amounts of data.
The "latency" is c...
*insert statement defending the console I'm buying*
This should push Bethesda to step up their game. I just can't wait...
I only use index fingers on triggers.
Why the hell do people even care which controller is better? It's entirely subjective. Objectively they both have pros and cons... but it only matters how it feels to you to use it.
Gaming sites are seriously becoming unbearable with all the console fanboy pissing contests.
SMH at people upset about this. Is it really that serious? Really???
I've always found that using L2/R2 in this way is more comfortable and then just tap L1/R1 for grenades or skills. That is one thing I can say I personally prefer about the Xbox controller... for shooters it feels better. For everything else I like the DualShock layout better. Looking forward to getting my hands on the DS4 with stiffer analog sticks that grip better and the improved triggers.
Although I respect how Trion goes about their business, unfortunately Defiance was just not good. It was average at best and poor in many areas. Destiny will be a definitive title of this next generation.
And there's still people who think these new consoles are barely upgrades over current gen or, even more retarded, no better than tablets. SMH
Been trying to decide which 2 or 3 games to get at launch with the PS4... Battlefield 4 on there for sure.
The games are both online multiplayer games...
Online multiplayer games need to be online? The horror!
Stop bringing up facts. Xbox fanboys on disagree patrol.
The idea that DRM saves studios is ridiculous. So many developers are closing primarily because publishers have been spending outrageous money irresponsibly. They just need a scapegoat for their own failures like they always have. But if you take the publishers at their word, none of them lobbied for DRM anyway.
Restrictions do not focus more money into the right places. As demonstrated by Xbox One prior to this, all it really does is generate less revenue to begin with. The...
You don't really need to ask why Sony is defended for anything on N4G. It's a very pro Sony crowd here. But that's fine, there are plenty of sites that are pro Xbox or pro PC and they bash everything about other platforms too. Seems impossible to just find an objective gamer crowd.
As far as the price thing, it is a big factor still. Time will tell if MS earns back consumer trust, the policy change alone won't just completely swing the sales. I've seen ple...
Kiss of death.
Um, ok.... it's gonna be better than current gen in every way, how is that boring? Because you can use an Xbox One for an unlimited amount of time offline now or what? Sorry your DRM dream didn't work out I guess. :(
Screwing a light bulb into its butt. Isn't that what chickens are for???
